That’s handy under your seat, my 2013 doesn’t have that, I think we all carry a lot with us.

For your bottle jack, what I did is a cut a six inch piece off a 2 x 4, drilled a one inch deep hole so the bottle jack extension top can insert in the hole. On the other end of the 2 x 4 piece, I grooved it into a u shape that forms against the radius of the frame where you jack up the bike. I’ve used this for years on my Gear-Up.

good idea , I'll see if I have a drill bit that big , I should be able to make something like that.

If the jack is anything like the one I have in my garage the top should unscrew it's designed to take the extra space

Loving the Chinese safety boots you're wearing when you put the bike on the centre stand. Many years before the RE 500 Classic with the side car I had a CX 500 with a sidecar. I used to carry 2 x 20 kg bags of dog food in the RE Classic and I had a ford fiesta fuel tank in the sidecar of the CX for ballast. It was connected to the main tank by a fuel pump , fuel line and a 3 way fuel tap so when I pulled into a servo I just filled the tank in the sidecar.

Do you know most those jacks screw up the jack head so you don't need the wood block?

Another fun video. It's surprising what we end up carrying. You need a set of Baja tools if you want to be able to change tubes/tires. Worth the investment for sure. Also, check to see if your jack has a screw extension in the ram. Most of the bottle jacks will extend some if you unscrew the contact point.

Yeah , they usually do , the one in my car does , but the tiny jack I have on the Ural doesnt have that feature , but it packs up under seat , so I always have it.

Great stuff. It is very nice to be able to carry a bunch of stuff that you may need sometime!

It’s luxurious compared to stuffing gear into saddle bags on the bike.

I have the same jack and welded a half round tube on top of it thats fits the frame to prevent the bike slipping off the jack.

Good afternoon. What is the name of the compressor. Does it have a plug for a standard motorcycle outlet?

Yes it does have a plug for 12V , cant remember the brand , but just do a search for "12V Car Tyre Air Compressor"
