I gifted the same little farm to my 2 year old niece so it makes me very happy to also see Alice play with it 🤗

That little people farm was my sons favorite toy. We got rid of it this Christmas and upgraded him to a nice big boy farm. Little people toys are the best! They have a Barbie line that’s 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love the little people toys! I thrifted the food truck a few weeks ago, and my mom is giving me some sets my brothers had as kids!
Also, rotating the toys is such a good idea! My baby cousins get bored with their toys, we'll have to try a rotation and see if that helps
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Alice will definitely get bored if I don't rotate each week. Everytime I do a new rotation, she will play so well by herself and she gets so excited! It's also helpful for cleaning up and making it not overwhelming.

My son was obsessed with the Little People farm when he was little. I need to find some for my classroom. I started Daisy Jones and the Six last ight during the sprints. So far, slow start but I like how the story is being told.

I’m glad you’re enjoying your reread of Verity! I agree with some of your thoughts about The Lost Girls of Willowbrook. I actually did really enjoy it and gave it a 4 but I was wanting more darkness as well which is why I didn’t give it a 5

The German restaurant looked cool, and Alice is so cute in her little dress. I'm sorry to hear about The Lost Girls of Willowbrook, but glad to hear your thoughts. It's one I've been on the fence about for a long time, and I've read plenty of books that didn't go as far or get as dark as I expected, and it felt like a disservice to the book, so I'll stay away for now.
It seems like I'm the unpopular opinion for that book!

Little people is very easy to get addicted and buy so many sets! Lol. My son (just turned 2 last month) has a bunch already!
I agree! My mom is actually giving me all the sets she had when my brothers were little, so I don't have to buy many!
I agree with you about Willowbrook, that book was not what I thought it would be at all. I know you’re looking to read more historical fiction, I just finished “The Frozen River” by Ariel Lawhon and loved it. I think it may work for you too!
