Taro's AcceleRacers face looks more like a caricature while his World Race face looks more like an Anime character.
I can't believe that people remember this, let alone are making theory videos about this old series! It gives me so much hope with all the dedicated channels that mattel will realize they made a mistake with BattleForce! The amount of nostalgia they can capitalize on is immense! You guys are awesome!

I believe you are correct about the redesign for Lani. She may not have the features of a native Hawaiian woman, but she does seem to have the features of an Asian woman. Makes sense because a majority of Hawaii's residents are of Asian descent.

I feel like all the redesigns were pretty cool. It just showed how much more serious the shift from the world race to the racing realms really were. It was more serious and more dangerous, and the redesign for Galorum specifically made it known to the audience almost instantly that this wasn't just a race anymore. This was life or death. She seemed way more edgy and scarey looking.

Great video dude! We needed a channel to cover the constant questions and mysteries about our childhood movies. I would really like to see a video covering what if Kadeem wasn't lost in Ignition. Aswell as who else from WR could be involved in the series (People in the background in the starting place of the street race in Ignition)

I don't really understand, what would there be to talk about? If Kadeem hadn't got lot lost in Ignition, then he would not have gotten lost in Ignition... There isn't much to it. He would've stayed with the drivers and helped them win more AcceleChargers
And I don't think any of those people in the background of Ignition have any significance, they were just random people there to watch a race. Like how most movies have "extras" in the background of scenes to make the shot look more lively/realistic. Plus, there isn't much evidence of other World Race drivers being in AcceleRacers (besides the three drivers who were mentioned by Lani in 4.0)
Fair enough, but I feel like Kadeem would have had a big impact on all the drivers on both teams. In all the movies it shows the fight between the two rival driving teams, I feel like Kadeem could have kept things more calm and maybe even helped with why the teams were so conflicted. The saddest moment in all of Acceleracers had to be when Kurt asked Kadeem about his people, but he had been changed so much Kadeem no longer cared. It was really sad that they decided to do what they did with his character.

Yeah, that scene really hit me hard too. That's when I realized that the Kadeem we all knew and loved was actually gone 😭
The writers definitely knew what they were doing. Kadeem was an all around good guy with good intentions. He didn't deserve what had happened to him. And that's why the writers chose him. I feel like, if the writers had chosen another character to do this to, it wouldn't have left such an impact on us. We wouldn't care as much. While I'm not saying I'm happy about what happened to Kadeem, it definitely made me feel legitimate anger and sorrow. Which is amazing considering this shown was intended for children. Things like this really push the show even further and make me respect it that much more

yo creo que el rediseño de gelorum no es solo por eso:
los acceledrom querian que los humanos corrieran las carreras, por eso los drones no pueden cruzar los reinos y nesesitaban a kurt para obtener la rueda de poder y asi poder entrar a los reinos, ya que solo los humanos podian desbloquear la rueda de poder, ya desbloqueada los drones podian acceder a los reinos.
por eso cuando vert devuelve la rueda de poder esta se bloquea ,los conductores son expulsados del reino y los drones quedan encerrados ahi por años.
en acceleracers ignition (se ve como los drones se apoderaron del lugar donde estaba la rueda) lo primero que se ve es a tesla tratando de recuperar la rueda de poder, desbloqueando la rueda ,los drones dañan su auto y roban la rueda ,tesla escapa y los drones con la rueda de poder desbloqueada ya pueden ingresar a los reinos
por todos los años que gelorum quedo atrapada en la higway 35 su camuflaje se fue averiando y quedo como como la muestran en acceleracers

Funnily enough, I've always seen Torque as raceless until many years after watching the movies (I was like 4 or 3 when first watching them) when my father told me he was probably jamaican or some "mulat".
Probably the only reason I really didn't noticed everyone was supposed to have a race was because of the city sector I would grow up in. Since it kinda matched the diversity there. (Primarily white but with many mestizos and some east asians and "pardos".)
Didn't helped I watched it in Spanish either and that the first race happened in a place that literally exists on the Lima old pan American highway.
It was only after watching World Race that I was like "ohhhh, they're from other parts of the world".
The redesigns where stated by Gomez (the creator of the acceleracers/world race story) to be Mattel wanting to make the characters be "grown up" and that world racers mostly fit the original designs Gomez and his team had. There was also a lot cut from world race and acceleracers story wise according to Gomez as well. He did an AMA on a reddit thread for acceleracers 4 years ago (aka around the time this vid came out)

I have a theory. I dont know if anyone has noticed and/or posted it yet. Can Silencerz have an association with Racing Drones? Both of these teams fire powerful spheres. You can see a Silencer fire one to Reverb (driven by Vert) in the Junk realm. We can see Racing Drones firing sphere that can destroy cars (but always miss lol) in many scenes. So could someone steal technology from the other?

I am half Filipino and love being outside getting tanner. I am also a redhead naturally. It is Auburn red. Half of the vehicles I've had were classic American cars including 79 Trans Am, 79 Camaro, 68 Pontiac Le Mans, etc. American classics have alot of feel and overall design is very fun and enjoyable and worth the money. My dreamcar is the 1970 Plymouth Road Runner thanks to HotWheels. I'll have that alongside a Barracuda, another Trans Am, Stingray and a newer Toyota Tacoma Off Road package because the TRD PRO only comes in a short bed lol.

Who would win in a race? Teku or Metal Maniacs? In my opinion, I think the Metal Maniacs would win.
Personally, I think the Teku would win. Both teams have some great drivers (Taro and Karma being the best/most consistent drivers in my opinion), but the Teku Racers have Vert. Sure, he is a wild card, but when he's racing at his best, (like when he drove against Gelorum) he really shines
My money's on Shirako. He hardly tries yet manages to drive better than the other drives (Junk Realm wrecking balls for instance). This just my opinion though.
And yes. The green and black color scheme IS sick. =]
I mean I guess it makes sense why Taro was redesigned (His redesign hit the hardest tbh) but I guess I just really liked the Japanese greaser aesthetic. ...I'm not the only one that's weirdly reminded of Sweet JP from Redline, right? It's not just me?
When Lani said that Taro was "Hard to talk too" I can see the reason why......
I did want him to maybe have his face be a bit more modeled to someone of Japanese decent but they did go a bit far.
I’m actually exposed to AcceleRacers before Highway 35, so the character designs in AR made a lasting impression on me. When I watched Highway 35 much later on in life, I actually find the designs in H35 a bit weird lol.
I have a crush on H35 Gelorum, though. Before the whole ‘robot reveal’ thing
I always personally thought Clipp the name the drones gave themselves so that Kurt would think he's just working for a competitor company. Scrim would then be the company Tesla would go on to found after leaving the Silencerz, which I believe is a secret government project (probably associated with the military)

The Clip organization and or the racing drones could have been made by the accelerons or are 2 separate entity's within the lore of the series (idk for sure), it is possible that galoreum got destroyed or got lost in the portals/realms being that really dont see her leave the realm after the wheel of power is returned to its place in the world race. So possibly she left and or went off and joined or got assimilated into the racing drones. This all being a theory btw.
