Nice! Quality workmanship. Not full floating, but good use of cantilever as floating does. Bit of space lost with the 4x4 to get the notch factor. It's always a trade off!
I guess he wanted to show a way to do it without using tools a lot of people don't have. And you'd need to do multiple passes with a router taking off small amounts at a time.
I saved this one for a future build, NICE, very nice, but the screws/bolts holding it into the wall seem to be a little light. For the load you show they are fine, but if you load the shelves up as most of us will, they might not be enough. Showing a few alternatives might be a good idea for you to explore .....
Might be more for who is going to build a floating system like this. They could take the time to do load tests to find out when the screws pull out of the wall. If someone knows how many in^2 and the lb/in^2, then they could test for 150% of the max load. If a lot of weight is going to be placed on the shelves, then will the shelves themselves need support bracing like a 1/2 x 2 x length so the shelves won't buckle in the middle? Both crosswise and front to back. If I ever have a shop where I'll want wall mounted storage space, I'll take the time to find out what I need to do. Over time wood sags. Why I mentioned support for underneath the shelf.
@@free-energy-systems Yes, it's certainly a valid point. I think when I build mine I'll actually extend the posts to the floor to act as a "foot" and carry a lot of weight as well.
Nice🙏 Thanks for sharing this super cool video🙏🙏🇩🇰

Excelente proyecto!!! Muy útil.. gracias por compartirlo.. Saludos 🙋🇦🇷... Cuidate
Really awesome. I'm a beginner so I need to make some without all these tools

hi Dekay nice job very useful
Great design mate. Love the simple visual learning in your videos so good.

Super show parabéns 👏👏👏
Genial amigo....saludos desde Chile....
Great idea
Best design. The small triangles increase the usability of the shelves by a big margin! Love your work
You make it look so easy
Beautiful woods..
really nice made. Great video!
Great video man. Good for you!
Another great project, thanks!
4:20 those screws seems to be waaay to short. Hope that won't become an issue in the future :)
Soundtrack is 👌🏻, thanks again 🙏🏻
What's the track title bruh, sounds prety funky.
OMG you are SO CLEVER!!! Very inspiring indeed, especially for a beginner, thank you!
Muito bom Parabéns nota 10
Nicely done.
Really nice shelf!
Easy and Quick, but i like it more stable.
Super cool !!!
Nice build. Looks like your next build should be a step stool instead of using a chair. Look forward to the next build video!
Tenes my respeto amigo 👍👍👏👏 excelente tu trabajo, saludos desde Curitiba PR 🇧🇷👍🤜🤛👍
Man you make simple and elegant stuff. Awesome. Thank you.
awesome build! 6:51 is it just me or is that lower support loose when your bouncing on it?
Dekay I really love your Idea man !!!!!! i just subscribed and i could watch your videos all day
Thank you 😊😊😊
Is this the stanley FME721-QS? I see you swapped for the newer Bosch model, but for home use the stanley is good?
Stanley is enough. Bosch is too expensive =)
It looks like you have your own lumber yard with all of that lumber!!
Genial buenisima idea
Muito , Muito bom o seu projeto parabéns.
Obrigado por ensinar.
bravo c'est super!!!!!!!!
Super
Excelent idea and best job. I´ll copy you ¡¡¡¡
Just curious
When making the grooves, why did you not use a router?
You wouldn't have to chisel out the leftover.
How do you calculate the strength and how much material you need for the brackets? Do you run a simulation in cad/fusion 360?
I just calculated it by feeling =)
Bravissimo

SHOW, MUITO PRATICA E RAPIDO DE FAZER

whats the track title pls guys?

How about the door blocking?
What is the name of this soundtrack
que madeira leve é essa ?
Hi 👋 friend I'm your fan from Morocco can you tell me about circular saw, between Milwaukee and dewalt y're been used Wich one efficient thanks
Amazing bud

where's the floating part? Isn't a floating shelf just suppose to appear floating off the wall and not anchored by vertical supports?
This got me confused as well
