- This is a Budapest 4K Walk Around Budapest's Chinatown video. The area is filled with shops and small restaurants. It almost feels like you have been transported to a city in Asia.
Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities I have a had a chance to visit. With its vibrant and full of life atmosphere, I wanted to show people that setting. But things have changed with the pandemic. Now there are hardly any tourist and the city is mainly calm and empty. So, I wanted to show this side of Budapest. Showcase the stunning sites but without the chaos and mayhem and as well as my favorite spots along the way. I hope you enjoy the sights as much as I have.

I've lived in the city for 8 months now and never even knew this place existed! It looks so cool :)
It's definitely a must :) In the spring/summer they have a night food market with some amazing foods. Have to check that out as well. Thanks for watching!
@@ArwinTours you may have noticed now the difference between this market and ours. 😉 This market is offically called "Europe Square" and mostly focused on business and trade.
@@ChinatownBudapest Oh yes definitely. I didn't know it was called the Europe Square, thanks for letting me know :)
i saw there a dead person …
Do the Chinese mostly stay in Chinatown? I've heard there's a lot of Chinese in Budapest now, but when I visited most were just running restaurants.
Yeah I would say a lot are living out of the center.

What's the thing on the left at 14:45? looks very tall but doesn't look like it will hold car traffic.
ah its just a rail not meant for any cars or people.
Nice video! But this area is not the Budapest's Chinatown, this area is Józsefvárosi piac :D
Thanks for watching :) Yes, but isn't this whole area from Orczy Ter to Monori Center considered the Chinatown District? We use to come often when just across the street was that huge market with the metal sheds. Sadly though it's no longer there :(
@@ArwinTours Omg! Are you talking about the legendary Four Tigers Chinese Market? Then you must have lived in Budapest for a long time! I arrived in 2018, and it is no longer there. I am very curious about that market and it’s story :D
There seems to be no official statement about the "Chinatown District", but in the Chinese community, the two areas are separated. From Orczy ter along the Kőbányai út to Könyves Kálmán krt, this area they call it "歐洲廣場" means "Europe square”, aka Józsefvárosi piac :)
And in the area around DunaPanda supermarket is Monori Center, aka Chinatown Budapest :)
@@ananwu2548 Yes I lived here about 10 years now :D. That place was an adventure, found some really good places to eat there as well. I thought it was awesome :D Thanks for letting me know that is considered separated like that! It's definitely good to know!
@@ArwinTours Thank you for sharing these videos! Looking forward to your new works! :D
@@ananwu2548 Thank you so much for watching them! More on the way :D

This is not the Budapest Chinatown.
I know the area where Jegenye utca is considered Chinatown but my friends and I don't get why this area is not. This area has more of a "Chinatown" feeling and has more asian related shops and it is actually in the general area as Jegenye Utca.
