A brief but beautiful speech by Madonna. I almost cried, thinking about all she's done for the Gay community. I'm a fan for 40 years now, ever since I was 13 years old. As a young Gay man, Madonna liberated me and an entire generation. Because of her I was never ashamed. She inspired me so much. I love Bette, too. Bette inspired Gay men in the 1970s. Great to see them in this rare video. Bette brought laughs, Madonna brought tears. Thank you. ❤️
And to think this was just one month later she wrapped up the iconic and groundbreaking Blond Ambition Tour, her voice still rough from months of touring, she's so beautiful here.

People forget how much of a humanitarian Madonna has been thorough her career. And yet she's rarely ever been recognized, especially by the presidents of the U.S. I think it's because she never bragged or touted about them.
I cried during her AIDS tribute (Live to Tell) on her current Celebration tour... Madonna is a warrior of the LGBTQ-community. The children need 2 learn and pay mother the respecr she is due.
