Paying Respects To Some Of The Many Pets At The Lancaster Pet Cemetery 10/21/23 BP95

- Halloween is close, so I thought let’s take a day trip to the Lancaster Pet Cemetery on an overcast October Autumn day. I walked around and saw many that were interred there by their families, some had touching words on their markers. It rained briefly while I was there, but that didn’t last long. The sun came out as I walked around and it ended up being a perfect Fall day. Do you have a pet that was buried here or in another pet cemetery? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for watching!
What a nice vlog, paying your respects to pets. You have definitely had pets with a lot of personality.
There were some pet’s interred there that had some interesting names. I enjoyed walking around looking at many of them and how long they’ve been there.
It's a shame that many of the plaques seem to be overgrown. I wonder how many people actually visit their pets there? Great job as always!
It looks like it’s well kept, but when they cut the grass it covered many of the markers. I didn’t mind brushing away the grass and leaves. I’ve seen far worse in a human cemetery. Thanks, Walt ✌️
Losing a pet is always hard. We've lost our cocker, Taffy, and our cat, Mittens, but have good (and some not so good) memories of their time with us. Neither is buried in a pet cemetery but Mittens is in our back garden, where she loved to lay. I enjoyed seeing the different pet names; some are very unique! Thanks for the vlog, Pete!
The pets we have or had have made a lasting impact on our lives, I know mine have. Maybe someday I’ll get another when I’m home more often. I’m glad you enjoyed the vlog, Jean. As always, thank you for watching ✌️
