Just responded to your comment on my video! You will enjoy this bike much more that you think you will, trust me! A few things have changed on mine since my last video on it, It is now sporting a Rockshox 35 Gold RL fork, WTB thru axle front wheel & a PNY dropper post 👍
I'm very hapoy with mine. I go 20 mph & only use for on road. I've had 10 speed seeious bikers pass me on bike road, but they were making it a competition & this bike's limiter kicks in at 22 mph. In City driving over 22 is dangerous not because of you but because drivers don't have enough time to see you if you go faster than that. My biggest thing is keeping it with me inside stores & only locking with my eyes on it as these things are thief magnets as $600 is $2000 in their world.
I got myself the 26 inch version back at the end of August, was $798CAD (I missed the $598 sale xD) but as my fist eBike id say its plenty powerful for the average person. Ive even been riding it everyday during the winter this year, pretty sure the stock fork broke the first week of actual cold, but it works great! Had to add a few QOL things and better tires, but its a solid ebike for sure. My only regret is not getting the 29 inch version for the disc brakes :( And with the warranty and parts support from Hyper makes it well worth your investment
Totally agree. If you would like to have disc brakes in the rear, the mounting points are already built into the frame. That would be a cheap and noticeable upgrade from v brakes, especially if you go hydraulic.
bought a $650 ebike from amazon was great while it lasted. I bike commuted only 12 miles a day, rode it 7 days. On the 7th day, it started accelerating "at will" (without me telling it to). Imagine the fun going down steep hills pulling my kid behind me and the thing decides "I'm ma speed now". lol. Oh the thrill! Yea, returned. Good luck with yours.
Nice review 👍! The guest reviewer did a great job too 😁

Wow, those are some heavy hitters! What was the motivation for the front wheel upgrade? Should I be concerned about riding the stock wheel?
@@MrOscillot thru axle front wheel was needed for the fork, I ran the stock wheel up to that point without issue 👍👍

Which bike did you get? I have a thing for cheap Amazon junk.
A shame you returned it. Power is supposed to be shut off going downhill..

Pretty cool time set off charger 🔌
Which chain guide would you recommend for this bike?
I have no luck on Amazon for far.
I installed this one on #ProjectZombie and like it. But a better solution would be to change to a narrow wide chainring. amzn.to/3CrWK94
Do you have to pedal the bike the whole time? Can you get going and stop pedaling till it slows down then pedal again?
You can coast just like a regular bike.
600 is a lot for some of us
This is not an un-boxing video, but a review. I have to return mine and need to re-box it, so this video is no good for me.
You’re not falling off that lol not enough power lol
