He seems like a great person with a beautiful and gorgeous rigs I have no hate for him for who likes, but the evil heartless selfish spoiled Vladimir Putin's diabolical rotten soiled terrorist diapers wife Trump isn't going to win the election our new female president Kamala will win, America 🇺🇸 isn't going back,💙🌊 the evil spoiled selfish heartless Putin's wife Trump will be retired to his bed in fresh pairs of his huggies diapers with him nursing on his right medicated pacifiers to treat his deteriorating delusional mental illnesses with dementia that is getting worser by the day now, he will probably be locked up in home confinement for all of them serious crimes that he has committed since he is a danger to society and the world, he is nothing more than a ruthless tyrant terrorist dictator just like his husband the evil heartless selfish Putin is, he should be permanently deported back home to Russia 🇷🇺in his soiled rotten huggies diapers where he belongs so that America 🇺🇸 and the world can have some peace from him it deserves peace, all he wants to do is take everything away from people. The evil heartless selfish spoiled Vladimir Putin's diabolical rotten soiled terrorist diapers wife Trump is nothing more than a very dangerous ruthless tyrant terrorist dictator he shouldn't even be a president at all since he has so much hate for humanity he wants to euthanize all disabled people and immigrants and others that are against him just like his husband the evil heartless Putin does that he hates with his rotten soiled terrorist diapers fresh off of his rotten bottom with the steams still coming off of them. He needs to be locked up for life in home confinement for safety at least for all of them serious crimes that he has committed since he is a danger to society and the world he has no real love☠️🖤☠️for people when he only has crocodile 🐊 tears with fake feelings for others he only cares about himself and no one else. He needs to be permanently banned off of the internet and TV 📺 for safety since he never has anything good and productive to say from both of his rotten soiled ends and so that he can't be ordering anymore of his deadly rotten terrorist diapers attacks everywhere like he ordered on the white house especially when he acted worser than a spoiled two year old in his rotten soiled diapers when things didn't go his way, he is still committing very dangerous crimes that is putting people's lives in danger, him and his gay VP pet parrot🦜that pretends to be straight that wears his wife's eye liner make up heavily on his eyes should both be prosecuted and locked up for causing all of that terror in Ohio with their racist hate they caused Ohio to get bombarded with all kinds of bomb 💣 threats and attacks scaying the kids and people in Ohio causing them to go into lock down with the kids going back to covid style virtual learning at home for safety because of the evil Putin's wife Trump and his gay VP pet parrot🦜that pretends to be straight spreading nothing but racist hate and lies. The evil heartless selfish spoiled Putin's wife Trump should be prosecuted for breaking laws even in the skies, he has been causing terror even in the skies now like an Al Qaeda terrorist with his very dangerous ticking time bomb ✈️💣 aircrafts, they said that he violated restricted airspace laws after he flew near the white house in his soiled rotten huggies diapers they say it was alittle windy that day, they said he was given numbers to call or something like that after he violated restricted airspace laws they that means they are usually introuble when they are given numbers like that and that whoever flew that aircraft ✈️could lose their pilot license. The evil heartless selfish spoiled Putin's wife Trump could have crashed into the white house since his aircrafts are like dangerous ticking time bombs💣 since he is probably like that Stockton Rush with ocean gate he cuts corners on his aircraft maintenance he probably does poor maintenance on his aircrafts once in a great while or no maintenance done on them at all that's why they are like dangerous ticking time bomb 💣 since they could fall out of skies faster than rocks all over in the USA 🇺🇸at anytime they fly any of them because of mechanical failures that could happen due to poor maintenance or no maintenance done on them at all. He probably has fake aircraft maintenance workers to work on his aircrafts that are not legally certified to work on aircrafts at all, he probably pays them bare minimum or doesn't pay them at all since he never has paided anything back to his builders and others workers, he hasn't paided any of them not even one rotten diaper back with his signature signed on it at least to anyone. He needs all of his dangerous aircrafts ✈️✈️✈️✈️taken away from him since they are a danger to all of the areas that they fly around he should ride on busses. I've been in shock that this is all even happening in America 🇺🇸 of all places. Them Haitian immigrants are very great people they love ❤ their community and do work for their community they were asked to come to Ohio to fill in jobs during that covid lock down when it was a very dangerous time when people were dying fast from that covid, it was awful i seen and witnessed people die from covid fast, the evil Putin and his gay VP pet parrot that pretends to be straight had spread hate about them saying that they were eating people's cats and dogs and geese and ducks in Ohio when it was an American black woman with mental problems that wasn't no Haitian immigrant at all that killed a cat and eat it, it caused them trouble.🚫🚫⛔️🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🛌💊💊💊💊🤡⚖️🤡⚖️🤡⚖️🤡⚖️🛌🦈🦈🐊🐊🛌🦈🦈🦈🦈⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️🦈🦈🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🐌🥝🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🚫🚫🚫🚫⛔️

Here we have the problem set forth as the blame game. The older generations had all the money and didnt fight to keep trucking sane. People have perceptions of what they want. But the industry doesnt NEED your opinion. The people who are in a position to regulate us, do not care about us and want to remove truck drivers. Replace ua with automated trucks. Meanwhile some legacy trucker crying with all his money. Cant gather enough o/o truckers together to fight the problem. Then there is what people want, that is not the law. If its not a law. Do yourself a favor. STFU and stop being a negative bitchmoaner.

From what I've heard life takes them in a different direction and not enter the industry. We need more generational drivers that have knowledge of the business.

I really get where this guy is coming from. I’m third generation Truck Driver and I never planned on driving a truck, but circumstances of life were what they were. My father drove his whole life Transcon, and when they went under, he drove for yellow. He was a truckers trucker. Drove a set of doubles. Light skin black band with a handlebar mustache. 6 foot three, 210 pounds of all muscle. Although I didn’t have a good relationship with my father, I respected his hustle.
Trucking just isn’t the same anymore. No matter how much Caucasian men want to go back to the old days those days are gone. And since those days are gone, they want to shit on the younger guys. The younger guys are not doing things the way that the older guys have done it . That’s a good thing and it’s a bad thing at the same time. The older guys gripes. You don’t drive down the road with flip-flops on with your left leg on the dash. It looks unprofessional. You don’t have your cell phone in your hand. Your cell phone should be mounted on the dash. You don’t take birdbaths that’s what they’re called. It’s called a birdbath. You use your shower credits and you go when you take a shower and you wash up and you get back in your truck with a different pair of clothes and you either head out or go to sleep. A lot of these truck drivers just don’t have any home training and that’s just the bottom line. They are foreign or they are American with no home training. Some….. not all but definitely some of these foreign drivers. Don’t respect American ways. You don’t cut off your brother to try to get from eight to B as fast as you can. You help your brother if you see a driver trying to back into a dock and obviously he doesn’t know what he’s doing instead of videotaping, why not get off your ass and help him and show him the right way! Trucking is never gonna be the same because the people who provide the freight don’t respect truck drivers because they don’t know what it takes to get the load from .8 point B so they don’t respect the profession. It’s not about wearing jeans and a button up shirt. It’s about looking presentable and being comfortable.
It’s not just tracking our American economy and our American core values are down the toilet. People are not even acting human anymore. People have no respect for themselves so if they don’t respect themselves, how in hell they going to respect YOU!
In conclusion, I consider myself a pretty intelligent man. I try to do the right things and I’m GOD-fearing. AND I HAVE A BELIEF OF YESHUA AS MY SAVIOR. I DRIVE SLOW AND INCLEMENT WEATHER. I PUT MY FOUR WAYS ON WHEN I’M GOING SLOW UPHILL AND TURN OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING. I USE MY JAKE WHEN I’M GOING DOWNHILL AND I DON’T TAKE IT PERSONAL WHEN SOMEONE CUTS ME OFF. I ACTUALLY JUST SAY A PRAYER. LIFE IS ONLY GOING TO GET TOUGHER. THAT’S JUST THE WAY THAT IT’S GOING TO BE. BACK IN MY DAY IS GONE. THOSE DAYS ARE GONE.!!! it’s a different day. We just gotta make do and keep moving forward and keep the rubber on the road.

I'm in the process of getting my training and getting my CDL I did a ride along a few weeks back with a friend of mine who does flatbed some of the bad habits that you mentioned he does and he told me about some of the dirtier dinghy truckers who are foreigners who do things like wash their feet in the sink at truck stops while they're waiting to take a shower. My uncle's who are truckers have given me some great pointers about proper trucker etiquette. Wouldn't be surprised at in the coming years you start seeing these trucking schools teaching stuff like proper hygiene and common courtesy at truck stops like not washing your feet in the sink.

Grew up in the 60s and 70s. Dad was a truck driver. All the talk was "These new drivers coming out are nothing but steering wheel holders.
In 2000, I started driving (only about 3 years until I found work doing what I really wanted) because it was the only work I could find in SW Michigan except working in a factor. All I heard on the CB, "New drivers are nothing but steering wheel holders" - this from the new drivers in the 70s and 80s.
A couple months (actually maybe 2 months ago, made a doordash delivery to a small truck stop. Sitting there talking were drivers less than my age. One of the comments, "All these new drivers are nothing but steering wheel holders" word for word
Face it, everyone thinks there group is the only group that knows anything, driving trucks, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, even truck stop cooks.

    • @DentalFloss2570
      @DentalFloss2570 2 місяці тому +4

I think that mentality IS a muti-generational problem, but I believe it's more than that today. The training that drivers receive by large companies is sub-par.
I don't think we have more "steering wheel holders" out there because the new generations are lazy. I believe it is mostly caused by shortcomings within the industry itself.
When companies are more focused on making profits off of new drivers and taking advantage of them rather than actually training them properly; the end result is less "real truck drivers" out there on the road. People aren't born knowing how to be a truck driver. Someone has to teach them.
Sure they might get lucky and end up with a great trainer/mentor who really helps them start off on the right foot, but how many others end up with a bad one?
Certain companies out there are training new drivers, getting them into a contract, then paying them a very low wage knowing that at the end of the binding contract most of them are going to move on to a different company.
It's almost as if their business model is to extort cheap labor out of new drivers, and then repeat that process again and again. The issues with driver training are just the tip of the iceberg. If we want to preserve the legacy of "real" truck drivers we need to demand change within the trucking industry. I just hope that change happens sooner rather than later.

25 y/o new gen trucker here. I’m also a vet. I started driving April 2024. I believe I do everything right.. I throw my trash away, I respect others, I don’t park on or in front of the scale, or take long after fueling… i don’t use the squeegee for anything other than my windows/mirrors, I always give myself a decent amount of room before getting in front of anyone I’ve passed…I drive safely and follow posted speed limits and abide by my company’s rules. I keep my truck clean, organized and in working order. Yet 99% nobody sees this, I get looped in with the rest of the boneheads, and get treated as such. So now I just keep to myself and f anyone who has a problem with me doing things the way I’m supposed to. I’m doing my best in doing my part to keep America moving. Not my fault my company has governed my truck to 65 mph… wish you older guys would stop being a*holes because I drive for a company. Not everyone has the means or wants to be a slave to the industry by becoming an owner op.
And I hate how the a large majority of truck stops smell like piss in the parking lot… I’d really wish people would stop that, ain’t nothing manly, cool or smart about it.

Most of the time, these clowns doing 80+, over legal CMV speeds, I'm not going to take part in your criminal activity. At night it's worse, those high beams in the mirror, messes with your eyes and I'm not 100% if it's illegal but it's definitely a nuisance. I drove 20 years .. 1999 - 2019 … 10 years as a driver and 10 as a Owner Operator..
I talked to many of the “ Young “ crowd at Truckstops and loading docks and ask them why they dress like it’s a vacation? Same answer every time… they don’t see the Need to look presentable. They also said that they think our generation is to old fashioned or out dated…
I told each one that there still is Important Reasons for Dressing decent on the Job.. Respect , Safety, and Reliability !!!
      1. How you Keep your Appearance shows Integrity and Self Respect! Wearing pants and a Decent Shirt with Work Shoes or Boots and Clean Shaved and a Bath tells a lot of people that you are not a Slacker !!!
      2. Safety- Work Shoes or Boots protect you from possibly stepping on sharp objects or busting up your toes or losing traction and falling!! Pants add protection to your legs against possible Burns or Scrapes which can lead to DOWN TIME at a hospital!!
Washing your TRUCK 🚛🧼 Ensures that you are able to keep Windows, Mirrors, Lights free of Debris for better visibility and it makes your Overall Representation look better when coming in for a Load!!
      3. RELIABILITY- Looking Presentable will give Your Boss confidence in knowing he hired the Right person! Keeping your Truck Clean gives the Shipper Confidence that you will deliver your load safely and on time!!!

There is no way any new beginning driver out here got a chance to experience the freedoms that the old school drivers had! When a new driver came out here, the older drivers kept the new drivers in check. There were shows like Bj and the Bear, Smokey and the Bandit, Convoy, and many others! That showed unification and comradery in the trucking communities.
Nowadays, drivers are exploited by the schools mandated by the government! The companies' schools don't teach them how to be a team out here! These drivers are told when to wake up, where to fuel, where to stop for the night, where to get the truck washed, where to get it serviced, etc, etc, etc. These drivers are pushed by a crappy electronic logging system that makes many drivers dangerous while trying to keep up with the logs! The government and many of these trucking companies have to have people who will not think for themselves and just follow strict instructions! If these drivers get to thinking for themselves, they are let loose and replaced!

As a 3rd generation driver i completely agree the new breed is terrible. Iam a company driver and I manage to take pride in my ride. But we can start with several things . Turn off the bright lights to on coming traffic or when you are behind another truck or vehicle. No fog no need to run fog lights. When a truck passes you dont flash your brights into their eyes to signal them over turn them off for 4 or 5 seconds then turn them back on. If another driver signals you over flash your marker lights at him say thank you. Leave your cb radio on and update other drivers . If you dont have one get one it will do you alot of good. Buy an atlas map with your gps. Be kind to other drivers let them in just dont be a dick ! If you make a mistake apologize to that driver and learn from it. I van go on for hours but thats a good starting point.
Oh Alex these truck stops can update their pumps all the want and get new tshirts and all but lets try and influence them to a 24 hour restaurant again I run nights and no food anywhere its terrible the old school truck stops need to come back.

I agree. I come off the road in 2010 due to health issues. I had 37 years out there. I started when it was iron men and iron trucks. Trucks will not move over when you are trying to merge and they have a lane to get in. Pulling off the road instead of using the off ramps. Water bottles in the bathrooms, washing their feet in the sink because of religious reasons. Use a shower credit! I did the East West turn around 25 years. I am not impressed with this new breed. I drive a sprinter van cross country now to keep from getting cabin fever. I am a few months shy of 70. I am trying to stick in there 1-2 years then I am going to take up the rocking chair and the fishing boat.

Defficating in bags and urinating in jugs or bottles and throwing them all over the place. That's just trashy and out and out triffling. Dressing like a Bum, wearing flip flops or sandals ( used to be illegal ) is not the way to present yourself to a Customer or others. Washing your feet in the sink is just disrespectful of others. Leaving your water bottles in the bathroom stalls and water all over the floor and toilets is just out and out nasty as hell. I come from a trucking family and I know the difference between professional truckers and most of the hacks they have driving trucks now.

Well im 24 and got my cdl at 21, ive went through rough times in the isolation (wilderness). Lord saved me when i was 22. Thing is, the world has changed, it isnt just trucking. Pride in anything especially ourselves, except for being proud of our savior, will mislead us.
Ill be insulted, for just trying to live some life, it isnt much but it is for my lord in heaven. Theres nothing of this world to be wanted or to be had, especially with this economy, so my best option was to recieve Jesus as my savior, he was all i had, the only hope for anything my life were to become of. I just dont understand how my elders could sit in front of me and make me seem lesser than them, that i have something to prove, a meaningless life, no good. Though ive learned to forgive those over the years, continue to focus on my relationship with my lord in heaven. I wish people would learn to be more humble, but thats only possible through the spirit of god in heaven.

I get a crack out of these guys who think just because you don’t drive a prehistoric boxy large car, your not a real driver. Let them be stuck in the 80’s and make a bunch of noise and be pissed off at the world then! It’s only a small amount of drivers that litter and wash their trucks in the fuel island. Most guys are respectful. I find it’s usually the rookies that haven’t learned how to be out here.

The old school trucks rolling 80+ mph in the fast lane riding around talking about “left lane gang”, the older drivers bragging about running off 2 log books hitting 1000 miles a day, riding around with tooth picks and other drugs in their system are the reason for such heavy regulation but the FMCSA and DOT. When I joined the industry years ago an old school driver who I’ve known all my life that had nearly 50 years experience told me “a truck drivers No. 1 enemy in this industry is another truck driver”. After 3 years out here I understand fully what he meant.
