Neil is the Male Amanda Lear. Talk sings and has a very common plain and ordinary weak voice that is medicore at best techincally singing . That says he sings perfectly and kept the same voice for ages. He has a nice tone and thats what does it and clever song writing. Love the PSB though they are awsome.

What the HELL is wrong with crowd?? Have a look at them doing Suburbia in Argentina in the same year (linked below), the crowd even starts chanting midway! The crowd for what I'm linking was insane, it's probably the happiest I've seen the boys when performing and that includes their iconic 2010 Glastonbury gig. I love the Pets from the late 80-ies and the voice is an instrument for this kind of tune... music... rightly chosen. I still have the right to judge him since I like the Pets and Neil in particular... anyway he has weak voice... not for open stage concerts... a studio voice. Maybe they had not arranged the right amplifiers for him at that moment.

Nothing wrong with that . He cannot belt well or sing a great range but thats's not important if you can use what you have got. They write and perform great songs and Neil knows what he can do and uses it the best he can. He has has also kept that medicore voice the same for years.
