From Bellevue it's so easy. Take the 3B bus into downtown--the easiest place to start is the bus station at Coley Davis road (by the recycling center). The bus also stops at Red Caboose park and a few other places along 70S. I take it to the stop right by Hume Fogg (8th and Broadway), which is also the place where you catch the return bus on the opposite side.

I’d love to ride the bus more often, but the nearest bus stop is terrifying, and often it’s used as a toilet.
Don't wait at the stop itself, just go out to it when you see the bus coming in a tracking app.
