In Europe we can find Nio for 60-80€ testers without a cap. If someone wants to smell like a toilet freshner with a weak weak weak citrus drydown, get Nio.
I think I might have to try it out, Ive been looking for a skin scent with light projection. By your description, Nio sounds aldehydic/soapy and clean. Could be different with my skin chemistry.
What would you suggest in lieu of Nio?

Kajal Lamar is a sleeper for the spring early summer. I’ve gotten wild reactions when wearing that fragrance.
I been saying nomad is the truth. Idk why it’s slept on and not talk about when ppl bring up oud fragrances. It’s not the strong oud, it’s a light oud. That oud and sweetness added together is the truth frfr 🔥.best bond #9 hands down!!
High key that Nike shirt is so sick. NoMad was one that really grew on me to the point that I got it over Chez Bond and Bleecker St... the only problem is that in SoCal I don't have a ton of opportunities to wear it. Especially because in that niche oud category I almost always reach for Haltane for a sweeter classy oud. Even though the note breakdown doesn't include it I get this amazing blueberry accord on my skin. Its magic.
I am of the minority that loves the original Mephisto over Gentiluomo , but Renaissance' opening especially when layered on top of Byredo Super Cedar (In my opinion the more masculine BR540 as well as Jusbox Cheeky Smile) or a few other fragrances makes it the best spring/summer of the house.
I wish MI lasted longer on my skin, I have one of the creed atomizers full of it and it does do a fantastic job for layering.
That Tiziana Terenzi is similar in many ways to BR540, but in my opinion more complex because that is how Paolo does his work. The leather, oakmoss, and birch tar in the base makes it fire for layering Hacivat or Aventus. The sandalwood, musk, and saffron make it phenomenal for Side Effect as well in the cooler months. A certain Afternoon Swim also works extremely well with it to provide this incredible depth. That said every single one of these scents works as a stand alone scent 100%, and layering is just fun extra.

Oud Wood is Oud Good! Trying Chanel de Chanel next. And if someone wants Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, im selling a bottle of 100 mL for Only $300 Great deal if you like it. Only had two or three sprays out of it. It still has the box and like New.
In my opinion honestly I'm an older gentleman and I see tom ford oud wood as an older gentleman scent. In my opinion it's over rated.
