Description of the picture:
“Life at the Oak” is a picture that takes the viewer to a warm summer morning, filling it with a wonderful atmosphere of natural harmony. In the center of the composition stands a majestic oak tree, its powerful branches reaching to the sky, creating a feeling of eternity and perseverance. Numerous birds gathered around the oak tree, filling the air with their joyful singing. Their presence gives the picture a feeling of living and peaceful nature.
At the foot of the oak tree there are cozy houses that seem to fit into the overall harmony of the landscape. They give the picture an image of primordial life and a cozy shelter protected by a mighty tree. This proximity to an oak tree fills the picture with a feeling of closeness to nature.
A path runs along the oak tree, illuminated by the rays of the bright sun. Its light reflects on the soft ground, creating the effect of a play of light and shadow. This path guides the viewer's eye in the distance, inviting him to embark on an exciting journey through the green expanse.
Illuminated by the rays of the sun, numerous meadow flowers shower everything around with bright and rich colors. Their delicate petals and graceful stems create a playful palette in the surrounding landscape, filling the picture with extraordinary beauty.

I like how you lay in the local colors and not one flat tone. You begin the under painting with purpose as a foundation, keeping the value relationship as you add the other halftones, darks, lights, and accents. Beautiful done. Inspiring.
