So funny. I always just assumed they were the same product packaged differently for different stores. I’ve never tried them side by side, but I would assume there are a lot of factors that equal how they are perceived. Like how he said #2 had no maple and then tried it again and said he could taste it. I think there’s a power of suggestion and other factors
I have a recipe for maple leaf cream cookies: 1 stick unsalted softened butter (250g) 1/2 cup maple sugar 1/2 cup 3 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt Glaze 1. Cream the butter, sugar and maple syrup in a hand mixer for 2 minutes until fluffy 2. In another bowl mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt 3. Add two-thirds of your dry ingredients, and add the rest of the dry ingredients 4. Chill the dough in the fridge for 30-60 minutes 5. Shape the dough with maple leaf cookie cutter, and brush milk on tops of cookies 6. Bake at 375 for 13-15 minutes, and make the maple cream filling 7. Spoon the filling inside a cookie, and sandwich another cookie on top 8. Store the cookies in a cookie box and enjoy I hope you enjoyed the video Nutrients: 110 cal 22mg cholesterol 1.4g fiber Sugar 19g
I thought they would all be the same recipe, but I guess not? Especially since the calorie count was the exact same I thought it was just branded differently. THanks for the video!!
Not in the US (or actually anywhere anymore). Aldi was split in half by the two brothers who owned it in 1960 over a dispute about whether or not they should sell cigarettes in their stores. Aldi Nord is the company that owns Trader Joes, and they own the Aldi brand name in much of Northern Europe, as well as France, Spain and Portugal. Aldi Sud operates as Aldi in the US, as well as the UK, Ireland, Italy, China and other markets.
