Ripley Alexander Welsh is an Australian singer and guitarist from Brisbane, Queensland. He was a fan-favorite contestant on Season 9 of Australian Idol in 2024 and his departure became one of the most controversial in talent show history. But with all due respect, Ivana Ilic who beat out and sent Ripley packing during the Top 10 (bottom 2) performance, is a brilliant talent herself.
