Good video Chaz. There was plenty of doing in this one. As I said before , I’m not a fan of exhaust work. But the Burban is coming along well . Find the electrical issue and flip it. You gave the next owner a good start. They should be able to easily make it road worthy and do what ever they need to to make it their own. Have a great week . It would be great if you could get the kid and Megan into some vids.
@ranflee1 Thanks man... I was hoping there was more "doing" in this video. Haha!! She's coming along and is definitely alot further along than when I got her, I'm just not falling in love with her the way I was hoping to... I'm hoping to get her far enough along that the next guy loves her as she needs to be loved. Meagan and the kid have been in a few videos, but I totally agree, they need to be in more!! In fact, I'll go mention that to them right now...
That engine sounds like it's begging to be run. Damn. Good thing you have a decent shop floor, btw. I spent too many hours rolling around under cars sitting in gravel and mud. 😐
@kirbyhumphrey3653 You definitely ain't wrong... She's wanting to go!! I am so grateful for the floor in this shop... Had my fair share of Gravel driveways in the past
You said earlier that this kit is for 2wd and 4wd. I'm gonna say that the passenger pipe hangs down like that to clear the goofy ass T-case as on the Chevrolet the front output is on the passenger side. Ford/Dodge is on the Driver side. So, how come you put int he push button start anyways? Why wouldn't the key switch work? Pretty straight forward systems. And yes..... all part of hot roddin... fighting through the bullshit too!
@OlysGarage I think you're right about the 4x4 thing... That exhaust manifold on the right side would dump straight down in that case and fit perfectly around the goofy ass T-case. The starter button was started by the previous owner... When I got it, it could only be started by turning the key and using the starter trigger he had rigged up under the hood. He said it was because he had swapped it to a carburetor, but obviously, that didn't make too much sense (same system). He had already messed with the wiring, so I just went with it... After doing everything, I realized the steering column was a total disaster and now I'm thinking he had an issue with the neutral safety switch and didn't know it.
@pugliesesspeedshop ahh yes, neutral safety switch definitely a possibility. I was gonna say the only things I saw that were affected by the removal of the TBI and Computer was getting the factory tach to work. Everything else seemed to function fine, that included ripping out the computer and some wiring (done by p.o. ) in the '88 K1500 i had.
@OlysGarage This thing doesn't have a tach (base model) so we should be all good... Pretty sure it was poor troubleshooting gone wrong. I figured it was easier to just finish it than jump down the wiring rabbit hole of the unknown...
Thanks for sharing. Awesome video. Keep the content coming. I hate doing exhaust work. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend.
@timwindsor03 Thanks Tim!! I'm seeing a trend that not many people like doing exhaust... And I totally get that!! Have a great weekend brother!!
Chaz, the suburban videos lately have been exhausting 💨💨😜😝

As soon as you think you got it fixed then something else pops.
@NathansMoparGarage That's been the punchline to this story for a little while now... I think we need a new joke. Haha!!
