Starting with the late 80s, everything is SHIT because they were seriously mixing Metric and imperial and I swear the Engineers were at full war with Technicians. But like Nathan's Mopar Garage was saying, I bet that was some metric sized line because it IS a little bit difference in size. And Bubble flares are garbage...

Keep at it you'll get the brakes fixed. I normally cut off the ends on reuse them on the new lines. The parts stores also sell them fittings new. Later Chaz

Trial and error is all about building things.I definitely agree about lowering trucks, if you do them right you don’t ruin them. My truck handles better now with the 2/4 drop than it did from the factory. It actually handles like a luxury car. Can’t wait to see new wheels. 👍😎✌️

Hey there Chaz. I do believe wheels were called mags because they were made of magnesium even though we sometimes called them aluminum slots. Not sure if I spelled either one right. I’m a little older than you are (just a bit LOL) so I remember calling them mags. Also I am a letter out guy, however I don’t think it would look good on that suburban. Have yourself a good weekend.

Wheels used to made out of magnesium which is flammable and not ideal. You either need different wheels or longer studs. Always something again.

If you ain't pissed off at it, chances are you are not actually working on it! - At least from my experiences! That sure sounds like a really good price... It's been a while since I've had a complete system done but it was close to $500 and that was a little over 10 years ago...! (Me supplying mufflers)
