The "opponent"/antagonist of the movie is the Red Death, a nest Queen; while in the first book (which the movie is loosely based upon) the antagonist is the Green Death, a Seadragonus Giganticus Maximus. Depending on when the score was composed, they might not have known it was going to be the Red Death yet.
The best musical theme in how to train your dragon is in the song a downed drgaon at the end (in this from 3:00 to about 3:20) where toothless almost threatens hiccup but doesnt kill him bcause as we know dragons don't kill humans on instinct anyay. But i have been looking for an extended version of this for a long time now because that part, even though it doesnt last long gives me the cheel and i feel so powerful. sorry for the rant i could have gone on

I was indifferent towards it, but when i heard that theme, i just loved it instantly
When I got the chance to watch part 2 in cinemas, I decided to watch Ice Age 4 instead. Children are weird.
I love this soundtrack and movie more than any other. I'm just glad my parents aren't judging their 14 year old daughter for it. XD
