The loop is very good fr, I recommend for the drums to download an RnB Kit for example and it will sound better I believe, Good job tho the progress is definitely going as it should

I like the Orchid kit by Cymatics or the Summer Walker drum kit for rnb drums. Also the new S.K.Y. KEYS vst has a lot of nice sounds. Love watching you produce! Keep it up ^_^

Let's go, new beat! Start posting more of your stuff for sure! I definitely felt that on taking too long with making a beat. I started making my best stuff by pacing myself though. Never rush the process. Whether it takes 20 mins or 2 days it's perfectly fine lol. Liking the vocal chop experimentation. If you ever need some melody inspiration I'd love to give you random chords I've ended up not using. You'd probably come up with a complete idea where I couldn't

Ik i don’t have many credentials but just one tip i learned from doing this full time the past few years. Logic pro has some good stock sounds but getting one shots from sites like splice or finding them in beat kits , or getting a some vst’s will be your best investment. i started on garageband which uses those same sounds

this reminds me of when i first started a couple months ago your doing way better than me😭. you might want to pick up different drum kits off reddit or youtube, or maybe try switching the program your using, i tried a couple before landing on fl studio, it all depends on your taste though!

@@JusticeTillett i like to have my main vocals with no effects (just an eq) and then another quieter layer with a little reverb. I like to make hip hop beats and EDM (Dubstep, trap & house)

The stock sounds in logic are pretty good but will only get you so far. Best thing to do is layer different sounds. You could’ve easily gave up on this but you turned it into something decent in the end. Remember to keep it pretty simple. Lots of simple sounds especially layered can add up to make a complex sound. What genre are you going for in your music?
I appreciate you and Thanks for the tips! Lol at this point I’m not sure about what genre, I definitely want to experiment with other sounds outside of stock plugins. What are some of your favorites?
@@JusticeTillett it feels like you’re going for like a soulful R&b. Still try keeping it simple and then tweak to complexity will help. I use a few libraries and plugins like Kontakt from native instruments or Opus from east west. I just put up a video on a pretty cheap 808 bass plugin that will change your bass forever. Definitely usable in R&b.

Hey girlie like the vids, i can make a suggestion or two. First get a looper pedal (certain daws have a looper in them like ableton and such you can even use your phone) second maybe switch daws it seems like your constantly fighting with get your ideas on there and its not responding to you. Ableton is twice more welcoming with all kinds of tips (or even getting bandlab on your phone thats what all the young folks is using luh tyler is making hits off that and thats how i started) secondly stop apologizing for your process thats in development one thing to learn is your music isn't for everyone as everyones music isn't for you.

Honestly yea I think Ableton is the top tier daw that beats most daws. Like I tried FL studio and it wasn't for me. Plus I know it might seem a little lazy, but using your phone to record ideas. Even using voice memos to jot down some ideas while you're out and about. Then when your home you can put in to your daw. And also there's nothing wrong with sampling from youtube
