I remember if capture the parrot, you can call Para-medic about it but instead asking about the taste she'll trys to tell Snake don't eat it. The only thing I find it odd is that the parrot did showed up in The Sorrow's fight because I had never killed it because I always capture it alive and free it to help me find where The End is hiding, You can even use the Microphone to find The End and you can probably hear him snoring

You lose the parrot, along with the rest of your food and animals, when you're captured by Volgin. There's no way to bring the parrot to endgame, unfortunately.

No, there’s no dialog if you just capture it, but if you eat it after catching it alive the same dialog about you killing it will play
