I wonder if anyone else noticed that DUCK was next to DODGE, as in "Duck Dodgers", which is a short with the correct cartoon duck.
And Donald Duck is Disney. The duck in question here is Daffy.

Dog pile was shaped like a dog pile lol and I have two boxers so that’s my favorite.
And I’m not sure that the regular crossword difficulty scale applies to the mini, except for the bigger Saturday. I’d say most minis correspond to the Monday/Tuesday difficulty level.
Hard connection today. I didn’t get it either. The green category messed with me too.
The Connections was impossible. I failed it too; I didn't know Martian; I'm too old for that.
Good Mini. Slow 2:49 for me.
Very good Strands. Perfect (but slower) solve for me, starting with HUSKY.
Interesting that several people said Donald not Daffy.
Well, I'm 39 years old and have no children. The last time I interacted with media that involved either duck was at least 20 years ago but probably longer.
How funny, I found Connections quite easy today. When I find it really difficult, sometimes impossible, I always wonder “can’t wait to see how Ransk does on this one”, thinking you will struggle as well, and you do it in about 3.5 seconds!!! 😂
I think it's wonderful that people can have such differing life experiences!
