You are on the right track; and this is an "adequate" installation. However, there are some things that would not pass at my shop. If a person can't afford to have a new windshield installed, I can see how they might try to do it themselves - but on the other hand, this could lead to some dangerous consequences. The airbags depend on a professionally installed windshield to operate properly - otherwise, if the airbags deploy, it can knock the windshield out and be too high to protect the occupants. The windshield is also there to help in case of a roll-over - if the windshield pops out, the roof can collapse and smash the occupants' heads. I don't recommend do-it-yourself windshield installation.

he has all the wrong tools tearing up his headliner scratching pinch weld. never use bondo because urethane doesnt stick to bondo i would never get into a car he put a windsheild he installed
You can just use roofing tar for sealer. You know it won't leak like the Your-a-Thane that was used for the original sealer.. Especially now that you got the wrong shorter windshield in there. You'll need some extra sealer.. And it'll be a lot cheaper too..
I wouldn't let you change a windscreen on a car going to the crusher, absolute demolition removing and the bead of urethane had me laughing. Please only post videos of things you're competent doing.

Please do not attempt to change your own windshield if you are not certified or have not ever installed a windshield before! This is very unsafe and dangerous if you are not a professional. Please have a reputable Glashop do it for you in your area. Were you have a warranty and a professional certified technician doing the work
