December the 19, 2020 was the day Carl and I discovered what we think is probably the biggest, most tender, and best tasting smoked pork steak we’ve ever had. It came from Brookman’s Smokehouse in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Owners Richard and Amy Brookman moved here from Tennessee, and brought their fish and meat smoking talents to coastal Alabama.
