- So, as we evolve as riders, our taste in motorcycles does as well. My friend Lenore finally upgraded from a 2006 Kawasaki Meanstreak to a 2018 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse! She's been eyeing the Indian line up since she test rode a Chieftain a few years back. She's been stuck on Indian since and finally made the leap with a purchase a Big #1 Motorsports. Shout out to Big #1 Motorsports for making everything easy peasy as usual!

Idk if you have experienced it yet, I have heard/read it's been fixed with 2018 and up. Some of the abs sensors on early bikes are faulty, having that problem with mine. But if ya'll need affordable parts check out indianpartsnation.com, get part #s and Google search. For example my abs speed sensors are around 100 bucks most places, I googled the part number and found some for 40 bucks a sensor. And they are easy to replace.
@@zenrider_9622 Good looking out. Will keep that on my list. My buddy's Victory Magnum had some abs sensor lights trigger as well. Seems that they may not have fully figured that out yet.
@@BrandonBicasso anytime man, I noticed the victory,Polaris, and indian abs sensors where all the same exact part number. I'm gonna look into any aftermarket sensors that might be better, I'll let you know if I find anything. I personally think it's the location of the sensors, and they should have mounted them higher or a better shield but that's just me. I might just end up making a custom shield for them and see if that helps at all if I don't find any better sensors.
Okay, I'll be on the look out as well.

Brandon, congrats to your friend, Lenor (?) on a sweet Indian. If I weren’t already paying for a Triumph Tiger, I would to get one of Indian FTR 1200. Brandon, I know you love those sexy Ducati’s, but I absolutely love that Indian is producing a genuine American sports bike.
I got a sweet spot for Ducs especially the Diavel line. If I could have the FTR for the city and the XD for long distance riding I'd do it!
And of course a Chieftain
The tiger is a way more capable bike. In comparison to the ftr.
Big Bear Bonneville , make no mistake, I have loved Triumph triples since I saw a Trident in a magazine when I was nine or ten. My Tiger is going nowhere. Has someone actually road tested the FTR 1200 already?

Lol, none of this is scripted. We're like this 24/7. Also, the 109 and Bobber combo is definitely sweet. The X would be the next step up from my 109. I'd think so anyway.

Happy for Lenore, wow, all day in to the dark cold hours of the night. How tall is Lenore? My current bike is difficult to get both heals on the ground at times. My next bike might be the same model

I am 5.5 and can handle my Chieftain just fine. I recommend everyone check out Jerry Paladino"s videos, It does not matter how tall you are.

I don't have much experience with the fat boy other than sitting on it. The dark horse would be set up for longer rides out of the box though. Write out a check list of the stuff you want. Pick the bike that hits the most check points. That would be the one you want and need most.
