I first played this game on a GameCube on the anniversary collection as well actually I saw a old friend play this at a GameStop in 04 if it wasn’t for the coincidence of seeing him play this game at the video game store I would have never known about it But I found out later on that a video game with the exact sane art style was released in 2003 called Megaman & Bass for the GBA if i would have asked the guys at the game store more questions about the game they would have probably suggested M&B better & I would have totally picked it up because I just wanted to play mega man 8 lol oh well
I'll say the same for Quick Man, Top Man, Toad Man, Gyro Man, Plant Man, and Shade Man. All great musics for levels that were annoying, but had easy bosses...weakness weapons notwithstanding.
it does, but that's only because we didn't get Rockman & Forte for the SNES until it was re-released for the GBA as Megaman & Bass, it was pretty much the predecesor to Megaman 8. The art direction kinda makes sense when you take Megaman 7's more detailed and cartoony sprites. but R&B made them damn smooth
This sound sounds identical, at least the first section to zombies in your garden of plants vs zombies. The theory gains strength when its composer clarified that Megaman was one of his musical inspirations.
_"Uh, hey there... you wanna play a game of Old Maid?"_
*-Astro Man* (Mega Man & the Pompous Robots)
“Got your nose, Tengu Man!”
“HEY, Give it back!!!”
"Eh why not, come on rush"
Man this brings back so many memories. Megaman Anniversary Collection on Ps2 was the first game I ever owned for that system.
it was an insanely good collection dude, especially with all the revamped versions of each game.
Same here
First MegaMan games I ever owned for the first time was MegaMan 2 on Gameboy. 😁 And MegaMan 8 on PS1 😁
I remember when I got that game I would love to find out what other robot masters there were. Because I only had played Mega Man 2 before then.

How did you find me? I feel so embarrassed!
Oh yeah feel like I'm watching the weather channel
forgot i have that! i need to see what channel mine is.
For the Wii
This song (almost) saves the annoying ass level. I miss when Capcom’s music was super jazzy back in the mid 90s.

Ikr mm11 was really bland and boring
Its all fun and games until mega man starts playing the keyboard mid battle
About time someone uploaded an extended version, idk why the other got taken down but thanks.
was thinking same
This game and music is childhood for me
music to have a nervous breakdown to :D
LETSGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WQEQEWQEWQEWQ OUVI ESSA NO COMIDA DE VERDADE
Thanks for re uploading. Easily my favorite
Love that intro, it really makes me want to dance while cleaning the house!
This gives me Plants vs Zombies sort of vibes!
Ikr???
Never thought of it this way but it makes sense
@@bulb9970 I have a video on my UA-cam channel with a very apparent similarity between pvz and megaman.
Reverse this statement lol
Mega Man 8 feels so out of place with Mega Man games yet its still really good
its the best classic game
It held true to the series for the most part and the music is just amazing

My favorite song from Mega Man 8 by far
I would enjoyed this theme alot more..if I didn't get caught in that damn maze soo much
Virus: AstroMan.EXE
Network: Planetarium Comp.
I remember playing this game through legacy collection 2. The first game I got for my Xbox One
Along with Madden 19 and LEGO Jurassic World
Stage sucks ass, but the music is pretty good!
(Oh, it's you again) I've only heard the Megaman & Bass version & just recently discovered how lit this one is 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

On my first playthrough i got lost... And those damn towers that sink into quicksand gave me ptsd of mario galaxy and mario 3 airship levels
I'm here.....but what do i do now?
Space
This song reminds me of a faster version of Body by Ja Rule. That came out in 2008. Just a portion of the beat
I have to mention that the intro sounds like that dojacat song about looking at a butt
who came her e because of one piece
What
Wtf
Plants vs zombies type beat
Mega man 8 came out in 1996 and Pvz came out in 2009
