You are right. The PIC is in the backseat. The frontseat is for the CoPi/WSO. I usually fly planes and just had the luck to get an awesome ride in the Hind ;)
what we call Mi-35 is just byrocracy name. It is indeed an Mi-24V, just to make things clear, we use 35 to mark 24's given to us to even out the debt USSR had towards us in 2000's.
@@EggiTheShadow indeed they were not, 10 years ago, drones were usually used in military, they were waaay bigger than what we can find on every market nowadays, plus at this time, little drones were usually operated by RC planes / helicopters pilots and enthusiasts inside very restricted areas such as airclubs and so on, and they were absolute garbage to fly, jeez times flies. So ye, they were not a very big deal back in the days.
@@milouplop The problem with them now is that they're in they're hands of the general consumer who most likely aren't aware of the laws and restricted areas where flying them would be a danger to the aircraft in the area. Although some modern ones do have geofencing which does keep them out of no fly zones
This isn't low level chopper flying.
This is high level tank flying.
People chilling on boat when suddenly there's tank flying from around the river bank

wo, it made a sound like airwolf at the beginning.
I mean, I never heard'em referring to it as Mi-35 (as well as here, in Poland), always called and designated Mi-24.
