Which compensator did those come with? Couldn’t have lasted long paired with the 103 if it was the one from the 88. I am pretty sure those aren’t factory pipes. I don’t think hd ever made radius exhaust. Probably v&h. Those cvo came with dual slash down exhaust
Not sure what compensator came with the bike but I have never replaced it on either bike. Those are the pipes straight from the factory one of the things I love.
@@TheBadgers I know your not a big fan of the factory seat that came on these bikes, but as for me, I'm probably not going to be doing any "cross-country" riding on mine (least not anytime soon)...was wondering if you might want to sell the chrome cowl that go's behind the seat that was on the silver one you have? Mine has a little passenger bump-seat that I would like to take off and replace with the original chrome fender trim, but can't locate one.
@@TheBadgers thats the way mine came too...well, the chrome thing had been replaced with the little bump seat...the solo seat is original OEM tho...ever run across that chrome fender trim tho, if you think about it, let me know where ones available at a reasonable price...not interested in paying someone some outrageous price because they think it's a "One of a kind, Gold dipped in chrome/impossible to find condition" part. LOL
Merry Xmas. Great review .One of the best . Just bought a 2002 fatty .Almost a show bike covered in chrome 11000 miles. Was wondering mine has the nacelle front head light set up. When did they change from the terminater type head light ? . Can't make out whether mine was a convert or the 2002 came that way .Also regarding the ground cornering clearance , have seen a couple fat boys with forewards controls .Must make a big diff on leaning over ( I went from a FXDWG ) Do you have any experience of the ride diff on a fat boy with that set up ? . Many thanks .keep it coming .
Mine still have the terminator style in 2005 I think the Nacelle was probably added on by the previous owner. I have ridden both for me I am not carving up the curves so the floorboards work great I am more of a cross country rider, but if I wanted better performance through the corners I would consider it
Good day, I’m new to your page and to the Fatboy world just got a 92 Fatboy 1st bike actually I just bought. just wondering if you help me and point me in the direction to get a seat and accessories with that seat. Would really appreciate it. Hector also I’m learning a lot on your page thank you again.
It looks ok I guess, not sure of the functionality in the rain, and of course if you ride lots of miles it is pretty important. I have been told the new Fatboys handle like a dumptruck in the corners, I haven't spent enough miles on one to truly have a legit opinion. Merry Christmas and thanks for your support.
@The Badgers rumor has it possibly the MoCo may be making an Icon Fatboy in 2022 styled exactly like the first one, yellow rockers, smaller tires, etc.
My bike is the silver one. The pipes that came on it are the screamin eagle, straight pipes. Thinking about getting the downsweeps but was told that they dont add any horsepower. Do you have any experience with this? Also was thinking about engine power upgrades but i can't find much that will go with the 103. '05 cvo fatboy. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
The easiest power upgrade is cams and a tune, the factory pipes are restricted so yes changing the pipes will help as well. I have the silver and the red one, the silver one just passed 165,000 miles
I have a question for you. I recently purchased a 2005 cvo in Red. Love the look of this Bike. I realize you guys go all over the country and put thousands of miles on your two bikes. First time I rode the bike at 65mph it sounds like its screaming. at 70 she turns 3000 rpm. has that presented any problems for you, especially if you have to up the speed on the hiway.
@@TheBadgers Wow. I saw Andrews make a 34 tooth front pulley, which brings it down 250 rpms at 60. I may give it a shot for 200 bucks. Thanks for the Reply.
hello, i just found you, i recently bought a 2006 CVO FATBOY AND LOVIN IT HOPEING YOU COULD HELP Me i PRESS KEY fob one time to active alarm, what do i do to shut alarm off please HELP
Your bikes look very clean in videos.im gonna try some of that amsoil cleaner..also have a 2007 cvo springer(blue) and 2008 cvo road king (cobalt blue)..
In my opinion, the HD Fatboy is The most iconic Harley of all. Yes we love the Knucklehead and the Panhead Harleys, but to me, when HD came out with the Fatboy in 1990, I thought it was the most beautiful bike that had this old school look that’s timeless. Yes HD totally revamped the Fatboy a few yrs ago, but in my opinion, HD should have just retired the Fatboy because the total remake ? Yea, it’s got solid wheels but that don’t make it a Fatboy. Actually my first impression of the new so called Fatboy reminded me more of a VRod then anything even though it’s not liquid cooled. I think the VRod name should have lived on instead because in my mind the Fatboy was killed off . I think it was a huge marketing mistake by HD. By not giving a completely different bike a different name, because I have not met anyone willing to trade their original Fatboy in for this bike and I’m on that list as well. Yes I know the newby is faster, but if it’s all about going fast I’d buy a Yamaha lol! Oh by the way, I heard the newbys are a nightmare to work on, ouch ! Anyway Great Vlog !
Merry Christmas Brother, Beautiful Fatboy 🌲
Thank You for watching Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Beautiful bike, I have the same one 👍👍👍👍

They are definitely not the factory pipes. They might have come from the dealer like that, but not from the factory. Mine is blue, and I love it.
Cool, I loved this review and when I see her again in person I will pay more attention to her. They are all beautiful.
Thanks young lady Happy New Year

Well I just bought my first fat boy,2016 fat boy S with a 110
Awesome in my opinion the greatest bike Harley ever built
The 103 ci Screamin Eagle from 2005 is a stroked 88 ci, not the same as the 103"s that came out later.
Yes which makes it a challenge to find certain parts
Another great video. My question is do you like the bobbed rear fender on the newer models? Merry Christmas! Eric

I don't believe mine is a CVO is it veing the 103 the main difference between your '05 and my ,'04?
Cvo was only in 2005 - 2006 Yes motor is a big difference. There are other differences on the bike, but not really in the drivetrain
