I notice ( now visually used to see it after a few days as owner ) that your demo model has the same little defect as the one I just bought: body is ( and most probably the exact same half inch ) a bit higher above the wheels in the back on passenger side than the driver's one. I don't think it could mechanically affect the undercarriage and it seems to be inside the limits of " tolerances " but it is the very acceptable maximum and Hyundai should address this ASAP; I will moreover of course contact my dealer about it not later than today. Hope this will help other potential buyers.
I bought this trim a month ago and I noticed that infotainment system is laggy at times, mostly when just started the car. Sometimes I hear the sound indicating that the selection command is received by the system ( a meep ) but it won't go into the selected item screen - I then have to retouch, retap the virtual button ( sometimes twice ). In forums I have seen many cases of persons having all kind of problems with those systems ( all manufacturers and trims )... My car is working fine otherwise and I get no black screens but this is the weak element of new car technology, the disappointing part of the deal and I think people must be informed about it. I am sorry, I am not accusing anyone here of being dishonest but I had to come up to say it.
Water is pooling behing the fuel door. Problems in sight: stuck door in winter and rust in the long run! I'm a owner. Here I strongly recommend to Hyundai Motor a " bas relief " gutter fixed on the coachwork right above superior half of the door. This should solve in major part the problem.
Water is only pooling because this car was just washed before being filmed (and we didn’t have time to throughly dry it) all our cars drip a little on the hatch, gas cap, door handles, and mirrors in our videos. Normal rain and snow is no issue here, just power washing
@@BrantfordKia As I said, I'm a owner. Every times it rains there is an accumulation of water ( pretty substantial here ) and if this water freezes, ice can damage vehicle due to water expansion. I already took the habit of drying it at night if there are chances of freezing temps.
I wish your volume was louder. I have mine up to the max, but I usually only have to have it about half volume. You girls are just too sweet, and your voices are so soft. I am waiting for my new 2025 Elantra with the tech pkg to arrive and am very interested in your presentation.
@@BrantfordKia Thanks for the response. Just so you know, I bought my Elantra and, in 2017, a Tuscon from your shop. I knew Dave and his family-I sold them a cruise. I just ordered a 2025 Elantra (Preferred with Tech Pk), but now I live in London, so I bought locally, which is my practice. Enjoy your reviews and info.
That's not a 60-40 split rear seat, it's one piece, plus no center arm rest. It's disappointing when the US equivalent model, the SEL Convenience does have the 60-40 split AND with the center armrest. (See Ben Hardy's recent video on that 2025 US model). It's the little things like this that people might take for granted as having. Otherwise this would be the perfect spec Elantra (I'd prefer the cloth seats to the leatherette seats in the Luxury which is just a better sounding name for what really is just vinyl.)
No wireless apple CarPlay is the sole reason I decided to go with just Preferred instead of preferred tech it’s bizarre they gave that tech feature in a lower non tech model but not in tech lol I am happy with my purchase though there are a few bummers like no sunroof, space for sunglasses is missing, no cup holder in rear but doesn’t cause any issues for me per my usage… let me know if anyone has been able to come up with a solution for sunglasses holder.
That "elephant-in-the-room" item is really a deal-breaker for me! I'm glad that you too find that "corvette-inspired grab-handle" a bit annoying... I always laugh when Gabi demonstrates how the passenger must deal with that obstacle to get to the air-conditioning buttons!! Also the WIRED Android Auto is the 2nd deal-breaker for me... when all of these nuisances are taken car of in the upcoming Kia K4! Logging in everyday to see when Charlotte and Gabi will show us that new Elantra-equivalent from Kia!!
They burn oil. The engine parts are cheaply made and and sometimes during manufacturing they leave filings etc in the engine. You have to really baby Korean car engines. I have a 19 Rio and it uses oil. I replaced what's called a PCV valve recently as sometime that causes oil usage. I'm waiting to see if that helps.

Windshield washer tank has a VERY bad design! there is no way to see the level of remaining fluid since the upper part always remain free of fluid. And NO warning light on this model when low. Update, I finally found a way to see it buy it's only at night that you can and you have use a flashlight wich you will direct through the little space between a structural part and a point just next to alternator. Then you can clearly see it... but what a hassle!
You're Canadian. You're talking about a Canadian version of the Elantra. Please pronounce Elantra like a Canadian. It's E-lan-tra not E-lon-tra. Thank you.
Thanks for the vid. This is the exact trim I’m looking for 😮
Very great job ya did today!!!!have a good thursday

Beautiful car without doubt

Aww I missed the live stream... but no worries I always have car related questions (and discussion pts) in store for next time! 😊

thank you so much for watching, I’ve played around with the settings on our mic, hoping that will resolve our volume issue.

Can you suggest like we go for luxury or preferred with tech package.
Present Miss Gaby and Miss Charlotte 🙋
Injection pump is on the noisy side, here. It doesn't cost a million to include a silencing device!

Odd choice to not offer wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto on so many models
/trims. The base ‘23 Kia Rio has wireless.

does this trim come with fog lights?
Gabby is gorgeous!!
The Elantra is the best looking car out there. I've heard of some different problems with them though.
what problems have you heard about?

Dammit, I thought it had 400 hp for a minute there! I must be reading something wrong…lol😂
That grab bar thing on the center console ruins the interior for me don’t understand it’s purpose
Could you shake the camera sum more?
