    Last weekend Jett was on another level in the whoops. Dude would enter them blitzing the tops and halfway thru he would pull the front wheel up and wheelie a few out without eating the dirt. Unreal. 90% of people don’t understand that that the the guys finishing 19,20,21,22 in supercross are ten times faster then the local guy that’s the fastest each weekend at the local racetrack. I used to ride with Jacob saylor quite a bit here in TN and teven tapia would come before the muddy creek national(tn) for some practice and they are so much faster and smoother then the normal fast guys(me -back in my day). And on tv Jett and the top guys are so fast.

      so true, on tv they might look like goons to the average viewer, but all of those dudes are the fastest rider by FAR at their local track. unless your local track was glen helen ( that was my local track) I was definitely not the fastest guy there xD

    Considering the Atlanta talks of track obstacles causing too many rider injuries I wonder what a change in stadium woops would race like. Maybe something like more uneven spacing, mixing peeky with rounded and taller shorter all in the same section. Made to where they're less blitzable. Wonder if it would slow down the flow through the woops and lessen the energy and likelihood of season ending crashes and possibly tighten up and increase the duration of the racing action throughout the motos?

    Question for you- I know you ride stock revakved suspension; how much of a difference do you think it would make if you were riding A-kit, or even factory suspension? Would the better suspension make a difference in your co fidence to charge harder?

    • @AjCatanzaro
      @AjCatanzaro  2 роки тому +4

      Jett’s entire setup would probably be good for a second a lap. Between motor, chassis and suspension. So not enormous difference, but would also make riding at that speed slightly easier as well 👍🏼

    • @dustin9035
      @dustin9035 2 роки тому

      @@AjCatanzaro not a big difference? What?? In a main event one second a lap is 17 seconds! That's the difference between podium and what, 15th - 18th place? Would assume half that indoors and more if you got comfortable.

    I wish Jett would have ridden the 450 class after he clinched the 250 title at least when it wasn’t his coast racing! Just to give us s preview of the future, they could have set up Roczen’s bike for him since he is not racing.

  • @mxwells216
    @mxwells216 2 роки тому

    I also noticed Jett could be more aggressive in the sand sitting down. You couldn't because you took your leg off to dab it cause the bike was washing out, in fact you did it 3 times in the first video. Standing vs sitting means momentum standing vs being aggressive sitting in certain situations.
