It’s allergy season as well. So if you suffer from seasonal allergies you’re gonna have a runny/stuffy nose etc.

Sneezing is not one of the symptoms, BUT, if you have coronavirus, AND you sneeze (allergies?, hayfever?), people are afraid that the sneeze will spread your coronavirus to those around you.

The problem is that the NHS is already understaffed as it is, it took me 13 hours to see a doctor last year to take a shard of glass out of my arm, and now they are being overwhelmed by people going in to test for corona virus but only about 2% of the tests come back positive as many mistake it for other diseases
It's free in india but they only test people with travel history! others must self isolate.

I started with a runny nose and sore throat last week and everyone from work was telling me is just a cold. Now, 21 people phoned in sick this week with corona symptoms. I am also self isolated for 7days, I 've lost my sense of smell and taste, 5th day now, and my partner had a fever in one of the nights, also we have a dry cough but is not continuously...so not sure what it is or if I gave it to the others..

China's medical professionals were warning of an impending risk right back in Nov/Dec BUT the Chinese government did everything in their power to suppress it, ordering doctors to stop testing and destroy results so as not to embarass China on the world stage, China didn't 'go hard', they WENT SOFT, only stepping up their response once it proved impossible to cover up. The Chinese government didn't do enough, delaying an effective response by 2 months, leading to many unnecessary deaths. While the UK government may have slightly underestimated the effects and have maybe been somewhat slow to respond, they and other countries' governments would have had a lot easier a time if the Chinese had been upfront and honest in the first place. Don't spread your ignorant misinformation about a government that has blood on it's hands you fool.

I heard of 1friend and a family member where heat helped a lot once they had CV 19. They stood next to a fire. Sauna, infrared lamps, the german " Wärmflasche" might also help. Viruses can not handle heat very well.
But didn't they say that paracetamol worsens the symptoms? I also read that ibuprofen and aspirin should be avoided. I seriously do not know what to believe anymore.
I had to go to the store yesterday with my mother for to but necessities,I did wear a mask and wash my hands and items I touched. I woke up this morning with my body feeling very weak,it's hard to walk,my throat hurts(I have not coughed),and my head feels heavy. Now,I already do have issues with body pain and weakness,but this feels different to me. I'm very nervous and had to tell my grandma to please keep her distance from me just to take precautions. I dont know what to do,I want to call a doctor but at the same time feel like it's just my paranoia

I have cough sore throat chest pain..I work for nhs as a therapist and I ly here worried for myself..my family called me from IOM & Ireland all worried about it..its a scary time..
I don't have symptoms but Im living alone and I'm afraid because I don't know what to do when I catch it. Because there is nobody that can do groceries for me or get food and I don't want to spread the disease if I get it. In my country it's not allowed to buy many products because it's not nessecery and I don't have very much money so every two, three days I go to the story for a little bit groceries. I do keep my distance and I only go outside for groceries. :( My heart goes out for the people that are sick :( keep strong and take care

Man you guys are awesome for caring. I am a little over a week into it and I feel lifeless. I can barely see this screen typing this. Breathing is the hardest part for me. Chest is tight and only able to breathe one sip of air at a time. Worst fear is becoming a reality right now
Isnt this not entirely correct - a cold and phlegm is possible, also diarrhoea and other symptoms but this is asymptomatic.
Also only 15% of people only have all 3 symptoms at once.
And some won't have any symptoms...
Agreed, it's dangerous to tell you if you have a runny nose of phlegm that it's not Covid-19. It's not a common symptom but it does happen.

Luke Øreo4lif3 That could just be flu, or a number of other issues. It is not exactly specific to Covid-19. The only way we can know if you have it or not is by testing specifically for Covid-19. Which is something in the UK that is not being done in mass, like it is in other countries... We need proper tests.

Take some over the counter medicine like Mortin or Tylenol, drink lots of water, and eat something. Resting your body (sleeping) and eyes (no screens for a while/ no blue light) can help too.

Vitamin D people, eat oranges or drink 100% squeezed orange juice. It worked wonder for my mum who's in her 60s and has a weak immune system. 👍

@Qwerty123 Even the ones that are immunosupressed can get this mildly as everyone reacts differently. I have been on an immunomodulator five years and rarely get sick. This February though I was ready to go to the hospital. I got really sick from some virus, I haven't been that sick since H1N1.
@Qwerty123 I am much better now but it took over a month. I 100% believe Coronavirus has been circulating since November 2019 within communities. I was travelling downtown Toronto quite a bit, my boyfriend works with hospital and hotel linens so he has more then likely been exposed and brought it home. He came down with sweats, fevers, nausea, fatigue and chills, gastro issues. I had fatigue and shortness of breath, very mild gastro issues, bad headaches , chills, nausea, a parched mouth and throat ( cotton mouth), sore throat and lots of dizziness and lighthedness. My symptoms all happen gradually on a week by week basis and lasted a long time. The pain was so intense I was ready to check in at the hospital but toughed it out at home. Never developed a major cough whatsoever but the symptoms I experienced were like a cold/flu combined, just brutal..

I’m 13 years old and I went to the beach yesterday (July 18, 2020) and soon as I got home I stared getting sore throat and coughing and bad headaches. Remind you, i was perfectly fine the days before but soon as I get home from the beach I started feeling this way. So hopefully I don’t have it :(

I have asthma and have coughs and shortness of breath but no fever, and sometimes I sneeze. Mainly in the fall. I did last November in British Columbia.
We should buy vegetable seeds and put it in our garden or take a pot and put mud in it and grow vegetables, it will help in future if there would be no food or can avoid by going out by this.

Yes this is what masks are supposed to be used for. Drink plenty of water, avoid ibuprofen, isolate to your bedroom. Unless you have serious health conditions your case will resolve mildly and no longer be a threat

The CDC said not to take anti-inflamatories...
I think they meant ibuprofen. I might be wrong, and you'd have to do more research yourself, but there's a difference between ibuprofen and paracetamol, even if both have anti inflammatory properties.
Ibuprofen has been forbidden in France since January. We only must take paracetamol
WHO has retracted that and says don't avoid Ibuprofen if you need to take it, that there is no scientific or concrete medical evidence to support France's claim.

It will probably take a year before we get a vaccine. By then the virus will be pretty irellevant, so I doubt they will roll it out to anyone but the most vulnerable and it will likely be a one time thing.

Your cough mustn't be loose but very dry.
It can be and usually with a duration of 3-4 days.Also some patients don't experience a cough if they get it mildly.

I had the virus early before this became a Pandemic and I thought i was just feeling down with the weather and I refused to get sick so instead i WALKED 2 - 4 miles a day on my treadmill at home and got over it super quick (Yes, it was harder since I had shortness of breath but i stayed at a comfortable pace). I did end up passing it to a friend and she ended up in the hospital and also to my daughter who had a temp that shot up to 104 and my husband who worked it off. The main thing I remember about it was that nothing I took would touch it and the headaches were worse then i have ever gotten. I believe i got over it super quick because i walked it off. Has anyone looked into this? Because I keep hearing get rest if you have it but I know I would have gotten it worse if I didnt walk.
