Personally when I heard they were splitting I actually cried. I didn't make it to a final concert because of my financial situation at the time, and that still fucking sucks to think about.

Been a fan for long time now..when I read that they would do one final tour..I ordered tickets in March. my wife and I drove on 10-11-2016 from the Netherlands to Malmö Sweden to watch the band for for the first -and last time. we had an awesome experience & living memory for the rest of our lives..All the best for the members of Kent in the future...Takk!!!

@@Ziqver No, Joakim Berg, the singer hated all the publicity and paparazzis that stalked him and his family all the time. He loved to make music but hated to be known for it, they will not reunite, you have my word.
This is one of their best ever. I like this song so much and the lyrics are thoughtful (found them in English). I'm so glad this song exists! Discovered Kent first in Oslo May 2002 and they have meant a lot to me with their style and sound. Good film too. Greetings from England.
I have no idea what these kids are singing but it moves me to tears. Sista Albumet brought me here. Thank all of you. I hope you're all safe and well in this dystopian future. I'm sorry I didn't discover Kent until well after their retirement, they're truly awesome even without knowing the lyrics.

I became obessed with Kent when I first heard their music. My daughter was in Norway and brought me some of their songs. I was learning Norwegian and started learning their songs in Swedish. This is one of my favourite videos. I miss them.
Saw their last tour in Gothenburg and fell in love with them right there and then. Hardly listened to them at all before then. I knew few songs. But very few. Then realizing during that amazing concert in the moment ... "F*ck ... This is never going to happen again ...".
Still one of my favorite bands today.

Denna musikvideon är verkligen spot on. Alla har sin historia och självklart är det allt det handlar om tillslut. Att dra liknelser från barns drömmar till evigheten är inte det svåraste och jag tycker att det reflekteras på ett sådant sätt som det bara kan göra från KENT. Otroligt fint. Växte upp i orminge mellan 5-12 år iaf och lekte på just den här planen vid vattentornet mycket. Förknippade annars mycket kent med orminge också där jag började lyssna på kent. Den här musikvideon är nästan kusligt relaterbar för mig haha

I really hate to admit it but I just found out about this band a couple weeks ago and think they are pretty awesome, I sure wish I had heard about them while they were still a band and I also wish I could understand the Swedish language. Love the music even with the language limitation!
it's so sad.. personally, learning swedish to understand Kent has been a great feat for me :) I'm not fluent yet, but overall from a learner's perspective, Swedish is quite easy. There are some obstacles that make every language annoying, but trust me, it's worth it to know the song in the original language.
Although, I still don't exactly understand this song even when translated..
@@luckneh5330 You are a very ambitious individual learning Swedish to better understand Kent's music better! I remember like yesterday seeing all the Kent albums in the stores and I even remember looking at them and seeing they were a Swedish band and never gave them another thought, I never even gave them a listen! You know the old saying that "Youth is wasted on the young" the older I get the more truthful that statement actually is!!!

This is how I grew up in a suburb to Stockholm, with kids of a lot of different original nationalities, we were just kids placed in this strange place, but it was everything we knew. We were everything that we knew about, at that time. Where are you now, my classmates from childhood? I know, some are dead, some are on Istagram, facebook and on the top you know.
Funny how after years in Sweden i effortlessly understand the lyrics of this song now and they hit like a truck. They were indeed saying goodbye with this album. Det är synd att jag inte kunde se de live :((

Efter all denna tid?
Vi är inte för alltid. I was abandoned by my Swedish partner and having anything to do with Sweden brings me so much trauma I don't even know why I'm even listening to this band now. I used to like Kent and other Swedish bands but now it's too hard for me. I was already starting to learn Swedish but the situation changed, so I don't want that anymore. It's crazy how just one person can bring so much disgust to feel towards the whole country. Good song, though.
Hope you feel better now. Sorry that you got your heart broken.
