@@cwstewartjr1973that deer has bred every year for his whole life. I’m sure he’s more than passed on his genes. And you never know if those spikes came from his balls
Scores aside, that tall 8x8 frame along with the sturdy main beams make this one of, if not THE most impressive whitetail buck I’ve ever seen.

That’s what I said! It’s almost like they score them according to what they want to. Losing five inches after he done split velvet and fully was hard horned.

That deer has some serious branches. My daughter calls them that. Nice.
Id love to see the score sheet on this deer. By the rules i remember for B&C or P&Y, the most typical points allowed is 7x7. The claim was , it was so rare for a whitetail to even have more that 6x6 that anything over 7x7 would be considered atypical, even if the points in question were matching in both sides . It seems , just by the symetry and sheer point volume, it would go higher than 188. Id just like to see how P&Y looked at this amazing rack.
Yeah something seems fishy. Maybe they claimed common bases and deducted two who points. It looks so much bigger.

Nice! It blows me away that the world record whitetail buck with a bow is like a county away from me. Been a record since 1965 I believe. Or some time in the 60’s. Regardless I can only dream of bagging a big buck with a bow. I am really ramping it up and getting prepared for it this year. Planting food plots, setting up treestands in plsces where they naturally travel, etc. the food plots are generally more of my firearm meat getting hunts but it is always worth setting up the extra tree stand just on the off chance that a big one happens to be in the area. On top of that I went and hunted hard for sheds this year to see what bucks I hadn’t seen were on one of our many farms. I finally found something special too. Found a shed with the thickest tines snd base beams I have ever seen. The damn squirrels gnawed off part of it before I could see the whole shed but the half I have is something to truly behold. Can’t wait to play cat and mouse with him this year.

Being from Oklahoma and hunted there and still do we have some great deer for sure and my step dads cousin shot a 22 point around the Logan county area
Racks don't shrink 4 or 5 inches. The green score must have been off. Incredible buck! Congratulations!

Forgot I already commented and seen this last deer season😂😂 still, once again I will say that is just one of the most beautiful beast of a buck I’ve ever seen. All those giant non typical bucks with times and points all over the place are awesome, but just something about a giant typical buck like this with a perfect dark rack that really hits the spot lol… congrats again, idk how you even get excited to hunt now bc you won’t ever top that monster.. hell, I don’t think almost anyone, anywhere could ever beat that 😂😂

When they're rutting, be out there as much as possible! I've seen big deer do crazy things, worried about who's getting the doe 😂.

This animal was taken about 5 miles south of where I hunt. What a magnificent buck! Pawnee county is a great place to deer hunt. Large number of pigs though.

Solid af. Now let me say…. Needed another year, not a northern deer, would be bigger if it was a one buck state. Can’t hunt on Sundays, no bait, no salt, don’t use cameras, ect. Congratulations brother I applaud you on your harvest. The jealousy has been spoken for. I have a buck like that about every 4 years on my farm and people like to pipe up. Always cut a 2x4 and stick it inside your rack so the with doesn’t draw In during the drying period
And then it would be disqualified from any records book. Bad recommendation. Besides, most shrinkage is in antlers, not width. But the skull plate shrinkage dies shorten spread. Nor can you “let it dry” in water.

An actual typical 7 by 7 or even an 8by8 is what I dream and pray to ever get the chance to get one day.
The non typical bucks are cool and all, but in my opinion the big typical racks like this one just look so much better and awesome. Plus I know they’re a lot more rare than them big non-typical ones

To those that comment and not understanding. We are Hunter's, from time immemorial we have met the game for food and village. I'd rather have this protein from the forest and nature as it is pure food, no chemicals or injections. This animal was given to this hunter by nature as he met the challenge. He respects his quarry.
