Come across your channel the other week I'm a carpenter from the UK and we build holiday/park homes I used to build Timber decks many years ago. But the work is more seasonal over here. Love the videos. I've got the same levels but for some reason we don't have the little 16inch one stocked in England
Dr. Decks; Check into Sola Big Red made in Austria The 2 tone green bubble. with luminous strip to help in low light situations, and the green is not effected by out in the sun. I use them to built decks and install doors and trim. I had to get more accurate level for m finish carpentry. Considered Stabilia, Sola and Johnson Ultras. Sola won my money. I prefer Staile laser tape measure over the Lieca, is more rugged and can measure an volume of the room for painting. Bo matter Stabilia levels came in second on my consideration for better level.
To make something overall be level, you would want a level that spans across the entire thing your leveling.... you could use a smaller level, of course, but if you were trying to make a nasa launch pad that was 200ft across, you could see how a little 6” level may not capture the overall flatness and levelness of the pad as a whole, which may have small imperfections that make a 6” read worse, or better, than a longer level would.
nice review. when I started in construction I bought the cheap stuff. now all my stuff is top end except my levels. those are next.

Does your overall deck levelling way improve with these levels.? Meaning did the finished results look subconsciously better.

They used a Stanley Fat Max during the construction of the Tower of Pisa. Perfectly plum was the reading.
