Torpedo Levels are great for a variety of uses. They are used regularly by plumbers to determine pitch. Pitch is the angle or slope of a particular object. Plumbers need to know pitch so that when pipes are installed they will drain correctly. Or say you’re putting in a new floor in your home and you want to check and see if the subfloor is level.
