The second DIY for my "Jumpsuit month" series today is this high requested jumpsuit. I made it from loose linen in green color.
It's getting hot here and also going to summer soon. So linen is a great material for this season. This jumpsuit is not only comfortable to wear but also very cute and perfect for your weekend outfit.

Love this! How would you advise changing the measurements, based on a 1.78m height and 64 Kg weight, please? Would love to make this myself :)
With your height and waist, you might be good with size L which is 2 size bigger than me. So add the extra around 6-8cm at bust, waist and hip size. Also check the length as well. If you check at each step, I shared the way I got my measurements. So you can apply for your body size

If I decided to change up the straps a little and have tie shoulder straps instead, would they be a part of the original piece of fabric or would those be added separately? Just asking what you would do. Thanks!
If you want to have a tie strap, keep the original piece. But make the top at the shoulder a little smaller. Then adding the long tie there

if i wanted to omit the zipper on this jumpsuit, could i just sew the seams together after i make the head hole and arm holes bigger? Or do i need to account for anything else? Thanks!
If you don't want to install the zipper, you need to make sure the width of your jumpsuit is bigger than your hip. That mean your burst have to be the same with your hip. Besides that, the width of the neck also need to be bigger than your hip size

82-64-92 are my body measurement for burst, belly and hip size
Is it possible to make without the zipper and maybe close it in another way? With the pandemic i’m unable to obtain any zippers..
If you couldn't find the zipper, you can make the front become the button and buttonhole, similar like the shirt

These are your measurements, how should I know my measurements? Greetings from the Netherlands
I have showed the way I did my measurement. So that you can apply for your body size
You need your hip size basically, and then follow Jess instructions (first 3 minutes), unless you have a bigger bust or are curvy (or bigger waist) you would need to add more cm to the rectangles on the width of the rectangle, if you are taller than her (I think she saiid she is 168 cm) you would also need to add cos to the long part of the rectangle.

Hi Tons of Vanachy, I tried drawing first on paper and messed up with some parts. But I’m gonna keep trying. I just recently started stitching so I’m really bad at measurement cutting
Shafa Annesley my mom taught me how to sew at six but i only got interested past few years at 45-47 and still mess up. Take your paper, find places you need more added and tape more paper on till youre close. Find a bedsheet and draw it on there with a big seam allowance and pin that sucker together best you can. Now try it on without stabbing yourself to tears. Then call me again. Lol
