Thank you two for doing these Fireside Sessions. I really would love to see 'If I Ever Leave This World Alive" and "Every Dog Has Its Day" done in another session... that would just hit me right in the heart. ...everyone out there, stay safe.
My cousin is in his final days, we grew up singing Flogging Molly, and later playing a lot of their music as we started a band. He’s always been like a brother to me, even closer than my own brother and I. Whistles the Wind was the song we always sang together when a friend or loved one died. Now I have the painful honor of singing it to him this one last time.
valley ice gardens 04/05 i havent seen live performance longer with anyone in person than you beautiful people - Drew the guy who stage dived with the other dude not at warped tour but THIS BEAUTIFUL's debut !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for doing this guys. So many of your songs transport me back to cherished times in my fleeting memories. Laughs and long nights with friends, when I first met my beautiful wife, and the formidable days when I was figuring out who I was. In times like these getting lost in a thought that makes you smile is a pleasant retreat from the crazy. Cheers and good health to you both.
I am a bit surprised he is doing this song. He wrote this for me when we were married and he was on the road all the time. I didn’t even think Bridget let him sing this song knowing it was for me. Maybe she grew a bit…but I can see see when he sings it where his heart is. There is an ocean where I am and where I want to be is when we missed each other when he was on the road. I know he loved me. I miss my friend at times. Slantie
These fireside performances have been so damn welcome during these times. Your music has gotten me through hard times before and continues to do so now. From the bottom of my heart, thanks for always pushing on and giving this world the color it needs. I hope you two, as well as the rest of the gang, are staying safe and healthy! Much love.
Whistle the Wind resonated with my soul the first time I heard it, having just lost a dear friend. Fine playing and that voice!!! Slainte to you both! A wonderful young lass (coincidentally named Molly) I worked with wore a leather jacket with "Flogging Molly" low on the back where it couldn't be missed. I wish I could thank her properly for the introduction. :)
Glad to see you two doing well! If we’re putting in requests I’d love to hear Within a Mile of Home! Love that song and it makes me think of my NJ Renaissance Faire friends I won’t be able to perform with this year.
Well, this is wonderful! The Light of a Fading Star is one of our favorites. And thank yall so much for this. Really brings joy to this world..God bless.
Dave, I found about about you when Trick Or Treat (1986?) Came out and you did the Soundtrack. Your band Fastway I still listen to and have it on Vinyl. Love it Brother...Cheers....
Can you perform “Never Met a Girl Like You Before” and “If I Ever Leave this World Alive”? I love, love, love these songs. Also, we were so bummed when we received the cancellation notice, but we look forward to the concerts to come. Stay Healthy and Stay Safe!
After a six day stretch of work as a covid ICU RN I stumbled upon this while enjoying a Guinness..Thank you both so much! My mental state needed this more than you will ever know. Can't wait to see you guys again in Detroit! With much love stay safe!
Thanks so much for making us so merry in these difficult times in New York. Just a wonder to see you now and will be fantastic to see you again live when we can again. Nothing but love here for you.
I'll never forget the time I saw you guys perform live. It was the first time I had ever seen a band live and you guys fucking blew my mind. The mosh pit was amazing and you guys played your hearts out. This must be nearly 14 or 15 years ago now. Flogging Molly has been an integral part of my life and I cant thank you enough for making my life and the world better.
Thanks! Love these song ! The only good thing about this shelter at home stuff has been all the mucus that’s being posted. Looking forward to the next time y’all come see us in Portland!

Thank you so much! I had the pleasure of purchasing An Irish Evening with Willie Brady on vinyl for $3 this year which was recorded in his home. So happy to see the spirit of music and home are shining through in these trying times.
I just love you guys. Your songs were present in many moments of my life... through the good times and bad ones too. I still regret i wasn't able to go see you guys play in São Paulo, when my best friend's band opened for you (they are called Rebels and Sinners. Gordo, the lead singer, is like a brother to me). I hope to meet the band one day. :) Thanks for sharing!
Live from home open stage. That is a Facebook group TONS of people are joining to play music from home during these ruff times I sure hope to see you on there, cheers
