All of the options make it so the audio sounds "robotic" no matter if it's on weak, medium, or strong. I am at a loss and at this point might just let the ambient noise stay

Sorry yaar ,you forgot that if you click and hold the line above the audio wave ,you can also turn the music audio up or down.
So it's a bit unfinished which makes this video not profession enough for me,in the sense you didn't give full information/tutorial.
