At 61 I still think this is without doubt the best OF THE BEST 4/4, kickdrum, Breakbeat overlayered track OF ALL TIME. Still sounds as fresh as it did 26 years ago. Then OMG when that piano drops in, still gives me goosebumps, as it always will. Old ravers never die. I WILL RAVE TO THE GRAVE! THIS FUCKIN AWESOME....
You prolly dont care but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
top tune and I cannot believe this song is 30 years old wow! music 🎶 from a happier euphoric generation of times that will never be repeated or will happen again sadly! how the mobile phone changed and brainwashed the whole world!!!🔉🔊🔈😢😢😢
This track used to send dove fulled ravers into orbit. Midas groove control is another track responsible for doing the same. I'm 41 now and still have wonderful memories of these nights, the atmosphere and unity at these events were indescribable. What's your name where you from what you on. Big smiles wide eyes and sore jaws.
Your comment is bang on mate, but this tune makes me a little sad as it wasn't long after the the hard-core music went pure happy hard-core no break beat and jungle took over the pills was getting weaker and mostly ket and speed mix the vibe was dying fast it was all coming to a end ,,the music got faster and faster ,, I was trying my best to keep it going but it's was disappearing into memories , I couldn't get the same feeling with all the changes and less happy people and more moody types !
@@peterolley7159 Interesting you say that because (of my age), I only got into happy hardcore and even knew what a rave was in in 2007. By that point the happy hardcore sound had completely changed from breakbeat stuff and into the "trancecore" stuff by 2002/2003. Tbh, I absolutely love the trancecore material because of the amount of energy, euphoria and feelings of love in them. This is one of the great oldskool happy hardcore tracks but I often find the stuff from 1996 onwards to be too bouncy and just hard to listen to. I also love my jungle and dnb. What I listen to depends on how I feel and what I want to feel like.
At Slammin Vinyl old skool arena many years ago this girl came up to me I was a 17 year old newbie raver and said "this track saved my life" WE STOMPED IT RIGHT UP THEN AND THERE. Mad love to her and where she is now. THUS HOW SPECIAL THIS MUSIC REALLY IS.....I'm now in my 40's but🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Used to buy records every week off Jimmy J at Slammin Vinyl. He was a bit pissed off they were mostly garage records (it was 1999-2002ish) but it wasn’t exactly the height of hardcore era. Every time a re-release of old skool hardcore stuff came out everyone would snap it up though. That seemed to make him happy.
Haha yeh I remember the trips down to Slammin in Kingston. I remember seeing Jim there and possibly Jason Spinba k who signed a record for me . Very blurry memory. Think there was a shop downstairs and you had to then go upstairs not sure which way round it was. Great times buying my tunes for radio and parties.
Adamski A. Ha. I think it changed around a bit, but in my day they had mostly garage on the ground floor, and DnB upstairs. Nick Dare and Jimmy J used to basically be pretty rude to everyone most of the time, but I quite liked it that way. It amused me.
@@nick260682 . Ahh ok I see yeh. Alot of record shops had moody subjects on the counter lol. I used to go Wax City in Croydon alot and always be aloud behind the counter to look through bits that were not in the shelf yet. I remember Swag near the station in Croydon dis alot of garage. I was pretty much jungle dnb, hardcore , but my best mates were into it all and bought tons if garage after they got a residancy .
From RBMA: " 6 Days may be the last tune to unite the jungle and hardcore scenes. Released in 1994, it had a huge piano led breakdown that was cheesy enough for the happy hardcore massive, alongside hammering breakbeats hard enough to keep the junglists raving. It was set to become a huge chart success, only to have fame and fortune snatched away at the last minute - a Dutch producer called Paul Elstak ripped off the main sample after Jimmi J and Cru-L-T turned down his attempt to license 6 Days to his own label. Whilst they were still negotiating a deal with Pete Tong’s FFRR label, Elstak’s version became a smash across Europe and, as a result, the negotiations with FFRR collapsed".
What a load of shit. They themselves ripped off the main sample from Intermission - Six Days (/watch?v=Jg9P3Z7ZCcE). There have been tons of tunes with that sample ever since, don't go blame others for "snatching" away your non-existent succes.

Only in someone's collection or old skool nights ain't same as hearing something come out on seen an so classic , passion gat decor , cafe del mar are some off mine love to mix one from this day to that ?
Labyrinth posse Oi Oiiiiiii! Funnily enough I was never too much into Happy Hardcore, but used to cane Labyrinth every week for the atmosphere.
