Why is the Talamahu market empty now?

  • I go on a walk about and talk to some street vendors, also cover some shops at the market. The market was once the hustle and bustle of Nuku’alofa in the past, but this year I’ve noticed a drastic change. People just don’t shop there like the use to, why? Also I take you along on my shopping adventure for ingredients for my Sunday Lu.

    Hey toko. Certainly warm in Tonga lol, do they put rocks on top of them wood? To keep it submerged. That’s very expensive Ufi, I’m assuming it’s the work to get it out of the soil without breaking is the hard part. They dig deep with a shovel? 😂 that’s hard work 😂

    Well hope he likes to enjoy and last for a while in the island/l appreciate he likes to live in tonga especially he had property in Nuku’alofa and Fuuamotu. We have 4 kids/ 2 girls and 2 boys/ none of the other 3 wants to live in tonga except this one/ Ófa atu ❤️

    There’s money to be made in Tonga people better stop being lazy, if the ufi cost $100-$180 it means he can easily makes $1000 a day stop
    relying on your family from overseas they struggle too
