i feel you. i NEED to find the clip of Araab flipping the Hello Operator/White Stripes song. haven't been able to find that one in years. if anyone has that link ?
i remembered this video; from when i first started; making beats. It was so nostalgic. The video was hard to find. So I figured perhaps; other producers. Have a nostalgic connection to this video. So I uploaded it. So we can all; share the nostalgia. So happy; that it makes you nostalgic.
@@samplejunkie622 this also inspired me, but i had no talent, i tried , it just was not in me (not proud to say it) . Another video that inspired me was the beat from Lord Tariq - third person.

I'm a producer the art is definitely not lost or close to becoming lost. There's a difference between beatmakers and producers. I can show you thousands of vids with dudes sampling. And tbh Araabmuzik don't sample vinyl he only sample cd's
@@ProdbyGrimeyred i've made beats as early as in the 6th grade and i've been around producers, beatmakers, MCs and sound engineers my whole life as well. You think i dont know what sampling is? LOL on a serious note, I'm not talking about sampling itself. Vinyl is a preference by the way. I'm talking about the way he chops it up in an artful way. Its artful because he's not simply closing his eyes and hitting random pads. There's a certain musicianship that goes using Digital workstations and drum machines live. Today that dont need to using these things if they dont want to which is why most beats in the mainstream are all software. Before you say "but people still do it" not like they did before the 2010s, i promise you that. How many people you see are recording live MPC other than underground?
@@samplejunkie622 I didn't say it was bad. It's simply not as difficult or impressive musically as Animenz playing Unravel (Tokyo Ghoul). To dismiss this fair observation as simply being down to taste is being willfully ignorant. Let me know when this guy has even 10% of his views.
