    Back in the days are used to use that Barbara Slidin bobber that you feel water with and just put a nightcrawler in a 3 foot leader line throw it out there the barber comes towards you and the worm deeps sinker in the water and you catch a trout that way it’s a good way to catch him at work for me I lived in Felton for 30 years now I’m in Carmel ocean fishing

    With that stinger thing with the trout and the water you have to watch out for the crawdads they will come up there and start eating the fish sometimes they come out of the water just to get something like your bait tank that’s a little bugger butts

      Oh really? This was my second time here, the bite seems really good right now. Maybe it’s because the water is so low

    would a bubbler be good for the small ice chest to keep the trout fresh? I'm thinking about going up there, I'm in San Jose.

    • @adventureswithjohn1749

      Walk down the trail until you see the mountain lion habitat sign. Right behind that sign there’s a trail going down to the water. When you see the stump that’s the juice spot!

    Tighten the drag a little once they’re on, you won’t lose em.

    • @adventureswithjohn1749
      @adventureswithjohn1749  3 роки тому

      I have the drag set a certain way to make the fight better. Also with the way the weeds are at this lake, it makes it almost impossible to not get the fish in some weeds while reeling them in. Usually it’s easy to pull them through
