Despite the seemingly easy replication process the Danganronpa Art Style gives off, this is a difficult art style to recreate, and even more difficult to master. But that's probably why it's so appealing. I think Komatsuzaki's work was a reason I got into the series in the first place, as I really enjoyed the art style. And I have to say, he has certainly advanced in his art style, and at least for me, the Danganronpa/Rui Komatsuzaki art style will always be one of the best art styles in gaming.
I'm not really a fan of some splash art for V3, I had a feeling that he dropped the quality a bit in Kaede's hair and clothes, but my favorite so far is Maki's splash art. I wished people would really appreciate the work from the artist, but he's always forgotten and obscure by the nickname "danganronpa guy". Serious, there are still people who think Kodaka does the illustrations.
Chiaki's initial design looks like Chihiro because when SDR2 was made, Chiaki is made to be resembling Alter Ego, as a hint for the fact that she is an A.I her appearance in the DR3 Anime was kind of a last minute decision also, Chi[hiro fujis]aki
