- The Nāhiku delegation, comprised of Kamehameha Schools and the Samuel Manaiakalani Kamakau Public Charter School youth, brought the names and places that Hōkūleʻa has sailed to to life with their musical talent.
Amazing. All Polynesian shared almost the same culture especially Rapa Nui(Easter Island) & Tonga & Samoa & Hawaii & New Zealand Maori & Tahiti & Cook Island & Niue & Fijian
Yup,we are one
Polinesian culture is very nice.
Beautiful performance
I hope someday the representative from the people of Tahiti can also visit Rapa Nui.
Precioso. ..
America, love the Rapa-Nui people. love your culture and respect your ancestors; don't lose your Rapa Nuin and "Pascuense" languish thank you.
Simply beautiful!!

Yes, they are students. The kumu chanting is Kaleo Trinidad, award-winning kumu.
@@auntiebobbolink muchas gracias
This is the celebration when the Hawaiian canoe Hokule'a reached Rapa Nui.
Chile, rapa nui
The hula is Hawaiian. I believe they are students from Kamehameha Schools. Followed by awa ceremony. So beautiful!
Hey, we could do a bit of this sort of outdoor aerobics exercise in Victoria, Australia now that a few Covid lock down restrictions are lifting, but you still are not allowed to exercise in indoor gyms....
It is sorrow that the whites spoiled the originality of the Natives of the world.
He nani no!
Are all of them Rapa Nui?
Tiaggus no, the people dressed in blue are Hawaiian. Or at least dancing Hula, and speaking Hawaiian.
The language confuses me, I'm Maori but there's similarities. Counting seems to be extremely similar, I mean no disrespect. It's beautiful, I just don't know much about your culture specifically so I'm curious. Chur my distant cousins.
The Hawaiian dance is gorgeous in the ladies' part but the gentlemen's part seemed kinda like those Kpop dance.
By the way, people here look like Hawaiian even though we are far away. I even have hair like those ladies which came out naturally.
Well this is how we fo it in polynesian. We arent looking for your approval. Maybe u have hair like wāhine bc u are one
@@hemiheke4920 Yeah maybe. I found out that the Polynesian tribes started their journey from southeast asia Vietnam/Myanmar/Thailand. Some might have stayed back and explore inlands instead of the seas.
@@tomthinsoubam2741 many Asian people in Hawaii, look like filipino Japanese Korean mix polynesian
