- My visit to London was mostly AMAZING! It was also hard with headaches and a big delay on the way back - I hope this video still leaves you feeling positive as it did me :) PS my boyfriend said this video is too long and with boring parts so if you watch all the way, thank you so much!

I have a huge amount of respect for you for going out and traveling despite having a long term concussion, and just trying to make the best of it while also listening to your body, and while having a positive attitude. That deserves an applause (not too loud though, mind the head :) )
Aww thank you so much! ♥️ my occupational therapist told me doing fun things is really important, so life doesn't become just symptoms and recovery. She also helped me talk through how I could make trips like this doable again and one main thing was my own space to rest, this hotel definitely offered that! Haha thank you for the mindful applause 🤭🥹💕
You’re so adventurous travelling alone! Your hotel room reminds me of a cruise ship room. Space for essentials only! I’m sure you know all about mind-body pain relief but if not I’m listening to a really good book called The Way Out, and a good YT channel on the same subject is Pain Free You. You already seem to be doing everything right but sometimes the extra knowledge of how we can heal our chronic pain is helpful! ❤
Haha thank you! I travelled alone around the world, so this felt very easy. 6 months when I was 20, to Australia, New Zealand, Vancouver and Chicago then again after my masters degree (when I was 26) 6 months around India, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Indonesia. Plus I lived in the UK several years and went to London often - it's not a new city for me. Thank you, my sister in law is doing a lot with mind body for her long covid. I haven't looked into it myself yet 👌🏻❤️

Thank you! Haha yeah I was shocked as these were not cheap rooms.. But I guess that's London, even in the suburbs 🤭 For most people it's probably just the nights there- for me it was most of some days. And it was really nice, the first one especially! Very soft beds and lovely people at the desk. I'll let James know ❤️

Thank you very much! ♥️ it happened almost 4 years ago and it's still improving but nerves heal very slowly so I have to take rest and be patient. A lesson plants have very much helped with!!
Do get your traveling in while you are still young. This reminds me why I stay at home. Even for someone without a head injury the chaos of it all is very overwhelming even to watch in a video. I love to imagine how diverse the world is but I guess I am lucky just to experience the small part of it that I call home.
Yeah it is overwhelming but I used to travel the world on my own for 6 months at a time (on a very low budget), so it also reminds me of my adventurous self and I love it! Just working on finding a way that works for me now - no more hostels (!!) and less making friends with strangers, but it still makes me very happy!

Really enjoyed this video! I really feel for you with the headache’s,I suffer with migraines and it’s very hard to make plans around it. It definitely was overstimulating when there’s so much going on, and the last thing you need is a chatty person or loud music and lots of bright lights. Hope you had time to recover for a few days at home.How exciting to see all those great UA-camrs all in one place. Rest up and take care Roos. 💚💚💚🌿🪴🐈⬛🐈⬛

🇦🇺. So much to pack into a few days Roos! Can't wait to see more on Kew Garden! I LOVE watching the plant swap - I posted on Good Growing last year that it's like the Oscars for plant people! I love Worcester Terrariums, he introduced me to Ficus quercifolia and it took me nearly a year to track it down here but it's adorable! Hope you recovered quickly 🙋🏻

Thanks, that's awesome! It was 108 euros cos I picked cheaper days and times - it can be much more expensive on more comfortable times. I thought that was good - flights might be cheaper but this was pretty easy. If I wouldn't have had the delay 😅
hoi roos. finimal(het merk) paracetamol zijn uber voor hoofdpijn kan zelfs 1tje al van werken. bij 2 helemaal.maar ben je heel licht duffig maar niet storend.

just curious are the thrips a native there ? weather is cold still they survived ?
Most thrips here are not native, they came in on and thrive on our tropical plants grown as houseplants. I'm not sure if they can survive winter but I think so. there are also native species so we get the best of both worlds 🙄😭😩

Haven't heard of her yet thank you. We do eat mostly vegan. My headaches are a bit different, since they're caused by that head injury, but I'll look into it!
