  • This video takes us to the Tellico Plains Tennessee area to enjoy some great scenery and good bike riding opportunities. We take the Jeep Rubicon on the Cherohala Skyway into North Carolina for some riding in the Cherokee National Forest along North River Road and others. The main road along the river is currently closed due to catastrophic flooding last Fall. The road and bridges are still being constructed in the area of Bald River Falls and Baby Falls on the Tellico River.
We also visit the beautiful Indian Boundary Recreation area, which has a large campground and lake. We rode our bikes around the entire lake on one of the best trails that we have ever seen! This trail is highly recommended and is about 3.6 miles long. It is one continuous loop so you could ride around multiple times and you would not regret it due to the incredible scenery.
Tellico Plains has many lodging opportunities and this is a great area to explore. We used Silver Top cabins near the High School in Tellico and was happy with that choice since we only needed a place to sleep. The next day, we headed slightly east to Reliance and the Hiwassee River before proceeding on to the Ocoee river and beautiful Parksville Lake. But that is another video, soon to come...

That narrow bridge at 12:50 looked pretty cool!

Yes sir it is. The trailer barely fit. It is the dam for the lake.

Open the layers section of Google Maps mobile app and turn on the bicycle layer. It will highlight most bicycle routes green. You will find more places to ride that you could achieve in a lifetime. Also, if you need advice about an area of TN, just ask. Enjoy and thank you!

Beautiful video! Can you tell me what bike rack you have on the front of your ebike? We have Aventon bikes, and we are looking for this type of rack. It looks very sturdy! We are interested in how you attached it to your bike. Thanks!

Thank you. We bought the front racks from Aventon. Attaches with 4 bolts to the existing attachment points already on your bike. Simple. My wife has a metal basket cable tied to her rack in order to haul her dog.

Hi! I messaged you before on your bike rack! Now, I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the dog bike trailer (tote) that you all have for your dogs? It looks sturdy! Thanks Again!!

@@ChrisAndersen-fd7yo It is a Burley Tailwagon dog trailer. It has a mesh cover but I usually have it removed since my dog likes that better. I also bought the fat tire upgrade for it since we often pull it off-road and in sand. Nice trailer, one of the best out there. Folds flat for transport too. We are using it at the beach right now.
