It goes to show that Ya don't have to spend 50-60 bucks on a record to make that beat . . . Those 50 cent to a dollar records on those bottom bins that are all full of dust are just as good as those expensive ones on the wall . It's not how much you spend but how creative yo mind is
Word! I don’t know why everyone is too chicken to dig in the crates anymore. If you pitch down your samples, add weird effects, nobody’s gonna know your source material anyway!!!
thats exactly what it is. im glad you said this cuz people need to know this... i treat every vinyl record like its the last record that i have... i find that people get overwhelmed at the vast majority of music to download or all these vinyl records and try to just listen quickly for something without taking the time to really dig through the sample... people need to take the time and listen very carefully to what is being played and to keep rewinding the record to find these little clips to sample and to manipulate... great cooment
@@aaronchase1973 this is the type of effort that more people need to make... great comment
@@dubsbangermusic word!👊
@aaronchase1973 Exactly . A little filtering . A little reverb . A few knobs twisted here n there and it's a whole new unrecognizable beat
SEEING STUFF LIKE THIS CONTINUES TO INSPIRE ME EACH DAY TO KEEP IT TRUE TO THE BOOMBAP PEACE DUBS 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
really appreciate that , thank you
Beat #3 is the one 🔥
appreciate that man, of my favs too 🙏
G is doing it the oldschool way
yessir appreciate that
You really killed it bro...respect soldier....💪🏾💯
I'm sending you my Dr bill I just snapped my neck 😂😂😂🔥
lolllllllllll we can go halves on it
In my opinion the beats on the 2000Xl go so much harder 🔥🔥🔥 definitely 💯 love your sessions keep ‘em cookin’
appreciate that man... yeah the 2kxl bangs a lot harder than the x even with effects applied.... ive done sound comparisons through the same cables for samples then recorded them to the computer and you can even see it in the wave forms that the x is weak and airy... that being said i still love the machine for what it does and the options that it gives me
Bro you should definitely make a video about that.. if it’s anybody on UA-cam who can really talk about this.. its you.. you been been banging out beats on the 2000xl… before everybody. That’s FACTS!!! 💯💯💯 and you got the X too..
people value your opinion… trust me!!! You one of them ones!!!
A great old school beatmaker
appreciate that, thank you
that first beat sheeeeesh you need to send that beat to apathy asap 🔥🔥🔥
appreciate that man... apathy would be a dope fit for that beat for sure
@@dubsbangermusic I keep coming back to this beat mann i need a HQ of this beat brooo
really diggin the 2nd one, killer stuff home 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dubs is too ill. You're the reason I started making beats. This is🔥🔥🔥🔥
that means a lot to me thank you so much
YOU'RE BACK!
back with a vengeance man, im locked out of my old youtube channel
The kick on the first beat was punchy as. That one was hands down my favourite.
yeah that beat bangs... i wasnt feelin the beat at first then i took a walk came back and was surprised it banged
@@dubsbangermusic yeah our ears deceive us when we've been listening to the same loop for too long sometimes.
@@Koedean yessir exactly... this is why i always take a long walk or go and do something else for a bit and come back to then beat... sometimes i nail the beat right away and then sometimes i make a few different beats out of the same samples....
Can’t believe it! So glad to see you back Dubs!
thank you really appreciate that... i got locked out of my old youtube channel so here i am finally making new music
The Dudes SAMPLE CHOP GAME is Top Level💯💯‼️
thank you appreciate that
Another banger form Dubs

Brutal Jose Feliciano. De lujo.
3 bangas, the 1st my fav, raw cook ups homie
appreciate that homie thank you... had to incorporate different styles in there
You got it bro…all beats were fire. And those drum breaks hit the spot 🔥🔥🔥
appreciate it man thank you
Heat street 🔥
thanks homie
🔥🔥🔥🧱🔥🔥🔥This is so fire It's breakn down walls. Especially the second one. Pure style
appreciate that man thank you
All three of them are dope. The one stood out to me is Beat #2. Definitely had the beat vibe !
Beat was straight fire, sample is dope.
appreciate that man glad you liked it
@@multipreach2674 appreciate that
Seriously awesome beats yet again. As soon as I saw that Ray Coniff record I knew there was going to be something great. I’ve found a few great samples from him before.
BDP comes to mind with the second beat. Take the wackest song and make it better. 🔥🔥🔥
appreciate that man... the first sample on the ray connif record was fire but i skipped it to see if there was more fire on the record... im definitely going back in on that one... i like a challenge so im going to be doing more of these style beats...
@@dubsbangermusic yes definitely some more great beats from that record and a challenge is always fun. I’ve just done a video today using a random number generator to determine which record out of 10 charity shop records to sample and then which specific track. It was actually really fun to do.
@@DJFurio damnnn thats sound dope af!!!
aprecite every vid have watched em all excited for thurs now much love
really appreciate that man thank you
Recently I've been using your chop technique and my flow is much better. Great respect for your videos, I learn and I enjoy listening to productions.
appreciate that man thank you. im glad you were able to come away with some knowledge form my videos and better your workflow
FIRE !!
Great cook up session Dubs!!!🤟🏿🤟🏿🤟🏿🤟🏿
thank you brother always appreciate the love after all these years man
I have been sleeping on Ray Coniff. Great RR my man!
appreciate that thank you... dont sleep on these dollar bin joints man they have some fire on there... it just comes down to creativity
@@dubsbangermusic Oh no doubt. Actually, I have a new Rhythm Roulette vid dropping next Wednesday. If you fancy checking it out my channel is Si Spex. I did a RR years ago and this is a long overdue follow-up.
@@simongilbert3594 hell yeah ima check it out man

That second beat is a sick banger
Keep being you and doing what you do.
thank you means a lot
Gracias por eso 3 beats en un video eres grande brow✌🏼🔥
Ven, gracias por mirarte
Great work... The Second beat is the best of the 3 presented for me.... But why don't u presented the beat of the generic....?!? Would be great, maybe for another vidz? THX 🙏😎🔥👍
thank you i really appreciate that.. i dont know what you mean by not presenting the beat of the generic?
Dope....
thank you
Soon as the sample came on the first beat I had a feeling you would go with it 😂 always an ill session when tuning in 🔥
appreciate that man thank you
I lived near Amoeba records in SF, every week,$10 from the .99 bins under the main bins, so I’d crawl around the floor for about an hour and would just picked albums based on the cover and time period.
Great cook up! I used that same Feliciano sample!! Dope.
Your drums are always 💥
That store is amazing. I’m from the UK and I’ve visited it twice when I’ve been on holiday. The amount of records they had for $0.49 at the time was crazy. Filled half of my suitcase coming back home with stuff from there.
thank you i really appreciate that. that feliciano records is actually dope its like a mix of hispanic soul and country lol... when i go through the dollar bin i definitely go based on album covers and time periods.... its the creativity that makes your beats not the sample itself... keep digging man thanks for watching
@@DJFurio that stores amazing mannnnnn
@@dubsbangermusic wish I could go back there again. Also went to Fat Beats in LA. That had some pretty good stuff too. I picked up one of the last copies of Dilated Peoples Worst Comes To Worst 12” with the picture on the sleeve that got banned and they had to withdraw it and change it to a different picture.
@@DJFurio damn thats a collectors item mannnnn good dig!!!!
Insane bro
thank you
Killed it 👊🏾
thank you
That first record was incredible. The first and third needle drop could have been taken for a beat too!
yeah that first song was fire, i wanted to check the rest of the record out first and i came across the choir like sample and it was spekaing to me... im definitely going to go back and sample the first song
Always dope fam! 🔥
yes my beat brother thank you coming from you that means a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh snap TommyVamoz in the building. Dope
@@RalphLBaer yooo!
Great job man!!
appreciate that man as always thank you
Nah I appreciate your beats. I often play them whilst scratching over them for practice like to see where some scratches would fit. Great great practice w ur beats.
3 bangers like it was nothin 🔥🔥🔥🫡

💥💥💥💥
You & cookin soul on a collab 😤🔥🔥🔥😮💨
that would be crazyyyyy
All 3 turned out nicely Dubs , but the 3rd Eroll joint got me vibin' the most🎹🥁🌊🌊
appreciate that man that record actually has some fire on it... ive gone back through the record and found some dark samples i missed the first time..
@@dubsbangermusic Totally ! Ive g9t like 5 or 6 vinyl albums of Errol ..lost of heath in there as well as Bill Evans Oscar Peterson and of course Ahmad Jamal 🙌 Peace my beat Brotha and keep up the Groove goin!
@@jazzroom appreciate that man... i find when i sample these jazz joints i turn the tempo down on the mpc while listening and it makes a huge difference
@@dubsbangermusicagree , as I sad in other comment ppl dont listen music carefully anymore - it's all about listening and imagining your own picture from those tiny cuts of a puzzle🙌
@@jazzroom perfectly put 🙌
You so dope🔥 I’ve been working on my chopping game too
appreciate that man, i hope i inspired you to look at samples in a different light
@@dubsbangermusic you have and I learned some tips
@@yayyhy sounds great man hearing that brings me joy real ishhhh
yo g, you may know this but if not, hit the program edit tab, and change global tuning in that menu to whatever you like to avoid having to pitch down each pad. peace peace
i find that it pitches my drums as well im so use to having everything on the same program like the old mpcs
ahh no doubt, i got into the habit of separating the tracks so i didn’t run into that but then old habits die hard
fuckin bangers! 🙌
thank you!!!
Broooo where u been ? Welcome back 🙌
i was in prison for 6 years... appreciate that mannn... im locked out of my original youtube channel so i started a new one a few months ago
@@dubsbangermusic Ohhh no way, I had no idea 😅 glad to hear you're back out doing what you love. Peace and love , keep your head up and looking forward to your videos. Boom Bap has made a huge comeback thanks to Westside Gun and Producers like the Alchemist. You need to start selling your beats brotha. Your shit go hard 🤟
@@robertmigliazza825 appreciate that man means a lot... yeah the hip hop right now is dope af westside gunn goes hardddddd the whole griselda
crack, question sir...for a episode like this or any of your other videos, what do u usually do wit the beats after theyre made? do u sell them? or are these like throw aways?
appreciate that man. theyre just in the archive... i have so much going on with working on upcoming projects and getting these drum packs ready... i guess im more of a pruducers producer, im working on an outlet to get my music out there for people to enjoy more
What happened with the new X, does it sound as nice as the old XL ?
the x is in the video i made the first beat on it.. the x sounds weak and airy compared to the mpc2kxl... but it has a lot of options and filters etc... i love having the option to use both
U don’t use note off on the X?
it depends on the sample type im using. if i dont need to then i wont use it
👍🙏🇬🇧🥁
🔥 Fire as usual ,Homie....BTW the what's your honest opinion between the 2000XL vs the MPC X ..and why, would like you to share for your subscribers..Thanks
I've had a 2k xl, it's fairly limited but easy to use and sounds really nice, I really regret selling it, the floppy drive is useless but easy to upgrade, I think if I was to buy another 2k I'd go with the classic.
@@multipreach2674 thanks for the reply I feel the same gotta 2Kxl....and a live, but people in the community are over glorifying the newest MPC...which should be ahead of the curve base on the grounds they broke ....and I get it but let's be honest with productions, much is needed but Akai is taking inched improvements to stay relevant but its the wrong approach Right???
i want to comment more in depth on this but i feel like the mpc is no longer geared towards hip hop producers. If it was geared towards us then it would have the old processors for the sound and the new hardware for storage space and being able to pull up sounds from the harddrive for easy access. As a hip hop producer the only thing we all ask for is that we want the old school sounds with new school hardware and the quikness of storage and laoding times and not having to mess with these sd crads etc.... .
The new mpc series are great but they lack the punch that the old machines have... the 2k xl is nothing compared to 8 bit machines but with the onboard fx card the 2kxl is a monster sound. Why couldnt akai include this in their newest mpcs they sound airy as fuck... also if you load up too many samples it starts to sound muddy. i did a mpc video comparison on my tik tok and you can even see the wave form lacks a punch and can definetly hear its a big difference in sound. i recorded the sounds in with the same cables on both machines. the recorder on the 2kxl smokes the mpc x by far and thats not veen filters applied yet. this is my two cents for now...
@@dubsbangermusic Yeah my 3000 kills my MPC One sound wise but love the workflow of the One
@@TheNathtube hell yeah the new mpcs are monsters i just find that i can make different styles od ebats on them and do different things effects wise that no other mpcs can do
asu pense q era el fntxy
Otras personas han dicho esto
I wish I knew how to make beats😢
never too late to start
@@dubsbangermusic lol do you know any 43 year old up and coming producers?
By the time I learn to make beats the game would have shifted 10Xs.
Plus in the music business it's all about who you know and I don't know any one who raps or sings.
thats ok man you just let the beats do the talking and itll come trust me youre never too old for anything, im 38 now@@AyyuBX7
how is ur logo so bright
in adobe premier pro you mess the luminous effect to bring it to its natural state.. adobe for some reason makes the logo grey
sorry but the first sample you just ruin so badly...
Inspiring! I get the feeling that playing with vinyl is so much more fun, rather than searching on YT. Would you say there is a major difference in sonics ripping straight from vinyl as opposed to YT?
i would say yes there is but even me myself i sample from youtube at times if i cant find the download... but tbh when you layer drums over the sample it doesnt really matter cuz youre going to lower the volume of it anyway...
What record did you get those drums from?
i dont remeber right now, prolly drum drops or all the breaks
I notice the mpc2000xl has more of that sound…the mpc x has more like a digital sound but almost the same but not quite..I have a mpc one and a 2000xl but the 2000xl always is that trusty friend that won’t let you down..dope shit..
big difference to me in my opinion... the xl is still and always will be my go to... im trying to "downgrade" even more to a sp1200, akai s950
@@dubsbangermusic you should try the Asr10 I have one and it’s a beast..I wanna say I love it more than the 2000xl
@@youalreadyknow8087 i had the ensoniq before the one below the asr10 i never shouldve sold it
