    Shoutout to Knolly for keeping the same hardware standards for everything aside from the lower shock hardware (at least from what I can tell). Will make swapping over to the new generation frame really simple when I've saved up enough to do so!

    Every time Knolly updates their bikes, I get a little annoyed. Not because of the updates, since I like their attitude towards updates and changes, but rather because I keep looking over at my 2017 Warden and that thing just won't fail.
    My only real criticisms about the 2017 bikes were that the standover was quite high and the stack a bit low... and these new bikes do fix that but it just isn't possible to justify the upgrade for myself.
    I enjoy these videos with Noel. Great camera work and wonderful conversation make for a top tier morning video. Keep it up!

    It would be fascinating to see a video where you actually go over the differences and compare a high-end frame to a lower-end frame of the same material. The difference in quality should be quite substantial to justify the huge price differences between bikes with comparable specs, but where one costs thousands more than the other.

    • @topspot4834
      @topspot4834 5 місяців тому +2

      The differences aren't substantial though ... I have a Pivot and the differences are in the quality of carbon, the tighter tolerances and layup process. Not something that's very noticable and would be pretty difficult to make a video longer than 2 minutes about it ... Unless he got really micro and got into their manufacturing process, from raw material to finished product. Not sure where Knolly manufactures their frames but might require a trip to Asia too ... That would be sick though, agree with you there!!

I have been on two (a preproduction one since 2020 and a production one since 2022) and every once in a while I will ride someone's bike with a telescopic fork (Any telescopic fork) and I am Always amazed at how Bad they are. I have switched to a DVO JADE X out back and it really balances out the suspension. Enjoy your new build. New Bike Day is Always the Best Day of The Year. 🤘🏻

    First thing I would do, before building the bike, especially on Knolly frames, would be to check alignment of rear shock mounts! Unmount the two bolts on Trunnion mount and look for sideload on rear shock. It will damage your shock (inner shaft) overtime...let us know the result
