What about trypod is it original from pro aim?

No, the tripod we use came from another jib we bought years ago. I don't think they make it anymore. You'll need a stand that can hold about 250lbs.

I have 2 of these in my studio on Proaim tripods and dollies, one set up with a Ronin RS2 and the other with a 360 Proaim head. We have not used them in production yet, but one keeps busting the bolts. The connecting bolts are made of aluminum and about 8 of them snapped just sitting in a corner. We go back in the studio and the bolts, nuts and washers are sitting on the floor. Time to replace a bolt again!
Seems like a serious problem, especially if you are transporting it to a location. Not dependable with those aluminum bolts.
I plan to do a video on a fix with steel shoulder bolts, just have not had time. Plus it is another $300 for the steel bolts. That is on top of the $3000 jib, shipping, customs fees and import tax. With the gravity tripod and dolly delivered you are looking at $7000.00. Then it is useless without a head that rotates, because it does not stay level, the angle changes with the elevation. Add $2000 for cables and equipment to make the head move in useful positions.
Still, it is an amazing tool. Just be aware, $3000 wont get you all you need. That was my mistake, ordered the jib not realizing how much more I needed.
Glad to see that finally someone did a video on this wonderful jib besides Proaim. I was starting to think I was the only person that bought one. It really is very nice once you get it set the way you want.
So, I am wondering if you have had any of the bolts snap or any issues with construction.

Bummer, We have not had any issues. Our bolts are made out of steel, production may have changed and now they use cheaper aluminum bolts.

We thought about that ahead of time. It's a steal bolt that screws into the jib. Then we have this HUDGE aluminum bolt that screws onto the steal bold that screws onto the tripod. It's been Frankenstein together with other parts from other jibs and camera equipment we don't use any more.

What is the tripod you’re using there? I like the shorter tripods for this Jib.
