I have seen so many videos online of Christians being aggressive and rude to Muslims.. I'm embarrassed as someone who was raised as a Christian. I was a youth pastor.. helped build Christian churches.. I feel like I have been deceived, and Christians no longer represent me or my beliefs.
The vast majority of the students and teachers of Islam I have seen both in person and online are calm, patient, respectful and thoroughly explain their points and perspectives. I am ashamed that I ever shared space with fools like these two. I am no longer a Christian, but I am also not yet a Muslim. The more I study the Qur'an and listen to the representatives of Islam, the closer to Allah I find myself. Thank you for being patient and loving to these men, even though they didn't deserve it. And I also had always the feeling that I am still 14. Today I understand the conncetion. I lost my faith when i was 14 with that decision and i need to find my path again where i once were lost

And contradictory to your claim, the prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, has been prophecized to come in the Jewish Torah and there was mention in the Bible as well. You can search up some videos. But besides the point, why shouldn’t a well informed Muslim talk about Jesus? He’s not presuming anything. The Quran talks about Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, a lot. He was our prophet and we respect him and believe in him. We do not worship him neither do we use his name lightly. We for sure don’t draw or sculpt images of him. Also we believe he brought the same message that all the other prophets brought. With prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, being the last messenger to be sent from god. And the Quran being the final testament.

Yes, but that doesn't mean it can be justified by the Quran or the Hadith. It has more to do politics than religion but those people use or misuse religion for their cause. More Muslims are fighting against them than you might be aware of. How many times do Muslim scholars have to say it before people like understand what Islam is. You said something about 7th century, that just happened to be when the prophet SAW was sent and the religion was revealed. The teachings of the religion are relevant in any century no matter when it was revealed. I mean we live in our time just like everyone else only with a different religious tenants and rules. Islam can easily solve the issues with the family unit in the West by following the strict sexual conduct rules outlined in Islam, it will solve the problem with alcoholism, drugs, gambling, crime and immorality issues. Read a little before you think you know what you are talking about. Look at the stats about the societal problems in the West and compare that to the first world Muslim nations like UAE, Dubai, or Saudi Arabia. No, you want to compare the United States with countries that are in turmoil or at war, then turn around and say oh look at them forgetting more than half the time those countries are in such situations because the United States waged war on them or interferred with them. It's your own salvation and it won't harm me or help me but I promise you it will only help you if you are honest with yourself. Read and understand before you make up your mind about any topic not just Islam. You know you need to find unbiased sources about the topic to be well informed. Only difference is that the Quran outright rejects the divinity of Jesus ( pbuh) and the man made concept of trinity. Jesus is addressed as son of MARY in the Quran. No other prophet is addressed as son of their parent etc. Obviously Quran was trying to send a clear cut message to the followers of Jesus ( pbuh) once and for all. Peace.

That is Arabic word "yawm" (plural "ayyam") is commonly translated as "day" (as in 24 hour period) this is not its only meaning in The Quran. It has been used to mean: "event, a moment in time"
Space and universe was created in 6 event or moment of time while afterwards earth was created 2 event after 6 event of universe, make sense universe in beginning is dangerous it take long of time to be habitable. While in quran said Allah spread carpet on earth mean crust layer of earth plus with Allah had mention earth look like egg shape.

Finally Did Muhammad know what big bang is in quran and pulsars stars check in surah Tariq verse 1-3. All this knowledge outside the human science at that time. Did you think this is a miracle from quran. If you want to disapprove quran with this error and contradiction than how about you take the Quran challenge making at least one page or 1 surah to compete the Quran.

But there isnt an issue here when someone says Allah they are talking about god and not Jesus, or Buddah or Judah or anything else.
I wont claim to be the most knowledgeable on this topic but i also could provide more info which would be too much in a comment section i believe. There are some things with the Arabic language and the words used. Because no one really says the statement we are discussing in english.

Try a simple google search of "Allah meaning" you will see some very enlightening things (not saying all are accurate) about Allah also being the Name of god and it not simply meaning just god in such a simple sense. Better than me leaving paragraphs here.

The humbleness of brother Ali to not want to even entertain the elder’s assumptions is praiseworthy. In that short period of time, brother Ali’s mind quickly concluded that it was pointless admitting what he was actually capable of to the elder. Such a wise choice.
He has also memorised the whole Quran but since he is humble he says he knows very little because every student of knowledge knows that no matter how much they think they know they are still a lot of knowledge they need to acquire when it comes to Allah SWT words. That’s why scholars never call themselves scholars they always call themselves student of knowledge while others give them the title of a scholar.

Jokes aside, please simply search how Jesus (pbuh) was calling God in the language he spoke, Aramaic. Elaha. Whenever you pronounce the word Allah or Ellah (الاه which is also Arabic for Lord), just remind yourself that is how Jesus referred to God (the father using your terminology). I have had many lovely discussions with people from Islam. They are calm and speak to you in facts and give reason for everything. It's a soothing faith and I am genuinely interested in learning more about it and even becoming a part of it if it is what God wishes.
Unfortunately I can't say the same for Christianity. Maybe I have been unlucky that most of my questioning towards Christians has left me feeling attacked whenever I disagree or express that 'because it's in the bible' isn't a good enough answer for me.
May Allah guide you to the Truth sister, if it makes sense to you then don't hesitate to take the step and accept it.

@@roni55205that’s just you not understanding the text. it’s 6 days in both, the earth in 2 days, “الرواسي وتقدير الاقوات" another 2 days which makes these 4. Then the sky in 2 days. if you’re arab (or understand arabic) you will find more examples of arabic texts (not quran) using this way. like
مثاله قول القائل : خرجت من البصرة إلى بغداد في عشرة أيام وإلى الكوفة في خمسة عشر يومًا ، أي في تتمة خمسة عشر يومًا "

It's weird to write in english then suddenly insert arabic words for some reason. Jannah is heaven. Allah is god. If we're speaking in arabic we will of course use the arabic words. But in english it makes more sense to stick with the english words to avoid confusion.

I agree with you 100%. To add on to what you said, sometimes older people need to be talked to in a different way, calm, non-offensive behaviour, kind of take it lightly with them. It is hard to convince my grandpa that the guy he cut off on the road is actually not wrong. It's not that he doesn't listen, it's just that giving them the blatant truth like that can resonate with them as an offensive move.
You could see that Brother Muhammed tried to remain less on the offensive, but not only did the older gentle(?)man not try to calm down, the younger guy next to him didn't even try to interject, even though he himself wasn't as agitated as the older guy was.

@@seekthetruthandthetruthwil2388 nothing is "copied" from the Bible. But the original source of the teachings of the Bible is from the word of God SWT through Jesus, peace be upon him. The Al Quran itself is the word of God SWT. The sources of both are from God SWT so of course there will be similarities. Where the Al Quran differs is that it was written and documented during the time of our Prophet Muhammad SAW and memorized then until today and thus has never been allowed to change from its original message. The Bible, on the other hand, was written by deciples years after the time of Jesus, pbuh, on this earth and has since been altered as is evident through its many different versions. Jesus was a messenger of God, Allah SWT, just like Prophet Muhammad SAW. They both conveyed the truth. The only difference is that the Quran corrected the corruption the Bible faced. So please try read the Quran with an open heart free from bias if you are indeed seeking the truth, because indeed the truth will set u free. Perhaps once you have, you will understand why Muslims love our God Allah SWT, the Quran, and all the Prophets from the time of Adam to Noah to Abraham to David to Moses to Jesus (and the other Prophets, peace upon them all) to our final messenger Muhammad SAW, who all brought us God's message throughout time.
Also, when i spoke about seeds i was not quoting the Bible or the Quran, it was just my thoughts.

Jesus prostrated to God and didnt know the future, which means he is not God because God is All Knowing. Why would God all of a sudden show up in human form? Why not go through messengers (Prophets) as he did in the past, e.g. speaking through and allowing miracles through them like Moses parting the red sea etc.? Because God is greater than us and never has to make Himself as a human just for our sake to believe in Him. God will never bleed nor sweat, he is greater than all that is human. He is Eternal and Everlasting so could never be killed as you believe. God is also Just and will hold everyone accountable for their own sins and not let them use a scapegoat in another human as you believe Jesus is for dying for your sins. He is also the Most Merciful and Most Forgiving so we dont need anyone to die for our sins, we just need to ask for forgivness directly to Him. Have a re-look at the beautiful attributes of God and see whether they match what you believe as a christian. They do not. If you are truly honest and want to seek the truth, go and learn more about Islam through the Quran, go to a mosque and ask about Islam. You will find more answers there than i can give you. You will never find the truth if you stop looking. Ask, poke and prod for answers, but do so with proper and knowledgable sources - God willing you will find many knowledgable people in the mosque who are happy to answer any and all questions so long as you go with the right intention to learn and not to fight. Leave any bias at the door.
