  • @WorldwideWyatt
    @WorldwideWyatt 6 років тому +31

    If Giancarlo stays healthy he will hit 60 home runs this year. Judge gets on base and Sanchez is batting behind him. It's pick your poison with that lineup. They also have Sir Didi to switch in and out of the top 4 spots if they need to break up the righties. I don't see how they don't put up monster numbers offensively.

    Not a pinstripe fan but do like the announcer's quip - 'Stantonian'...fitting for Giancarlo's power...somebody in these comments has criticized his batting technique/mechanics - Stanton has probably spent the majority of his baseball experience fine-tuning that slightly odd but very effective short swing....maybe the large muscle mass gets in the way of a traditional full swing. Growing into that body had to take quite a few adjustments to handle the speed of pitches...sacrificing pretty mechanics for speed and efficiency...look at Hunter Pence's swing - makes me laugh...or Vlad Guerrero's - he was all over the place! At least Giancarlo isn't practically falling down every time he swings!

    Here are my American League championship Predictions : Astros VS Yankees in the ALCS ... Astros 4 to Yankees 3 in 2018 why ? Because the Yankees do have a powerful , monster line up with Stanton and judge being their monster hitters they need at least one more season to get that chemistry , and Astros at this time have a one , two , three , four punch plus been playing together for at least one or two seasons , plus some heavy ass hitters , so I don't see Yankees dethroning them this year, however , 2019 i see Yankees and Astros again but Yankees taking that one .... be prepared to have the Yanks it Astros dominate the American League for years to come , given that both teams stay healthy

  • @chrislewis5069

    I love Stanton, but I'm disappointed that he changed his stance after he got hit by mike fiers. He doesn't get hip turn or generate the power he once did. His home runs aren't as far of you notice and he's all arms. He used to be more open and then turn his hips and get better hip rotation. When he got hit, it really effected him naturally so he closed his stance to get over the fear of being hit in face, but changed for the worse sadly

    • @calebmikita2879
      @calebmikita2879 6 років тому

      Joan Oviedo are you sure you’re looking at the right guy? Stanton is 6’6 250. Definitely big enough to hit homers over 400 feet. And just look at his swing, 100% raw power and he puts his entire body into his swing. Jose Altuve is 5’6 165, he’s hit homers over 400 feet......hmmm.....

    • @purplemonkeydishwasher4241
      @purplemonkeydishwasher4241 6 років тому

      Does not look big? What the fuck are you talking about? He's huge, one of the biggest players in the league.

    • @joan.oviedo7ace3
      @joan.oviedo7ace3 6 років тому

      Caleb Mikita what I am emphasizing is that compared to Bonds, Pujols, McGwire, even Sosa, and all alleged and declared steroid users he is not as big. by big I mean muscular. he looks like a AROD when he was younger. This proofs the fact that you do not need to be on steroids to hit it out consistently, with relative ease and far. understand?

    • @joan.oviedo7ace3
      @joan.oviedo7ace3 6 років тому

      PurpleMonkeyDishwasher watch your language. it doesnt get ur point across. The guy does not look as muscular as the HR hitters from the late 90's and early 00's. compare his physique to Bonds, McGwire, Arod, Salmon, Pujols, Thome, Even Traut looks more muscular. I could go on and on. he is tall but doesnt look so built as the names previously mentioned. My point is that players dont need to be huge to hit it out with power. Its about technique and skill.

    • @calebmikita2879
      @calebmikita2879 6 років тому

      Joan Oviedo ok, then this was a simple misunderstanding. I thought you were implying that Stanton is taking roids. But Stanton is huge, have you ever seen him without a shirt on lmao? He looks pretty damn similar to the guys you listed as far as how built he is, so your point is still kinda moot. I agree players don’t need to be absolutely jacked or take roids to hit it out consistently far and with ease as should be obvious. But using Stanton as an example of one of those guys because he “doesn’t look as big as older or retired players who used roids” is off. Stanton is huge. Just not really the best guy to be talking about for what you’re trying to say. A better guy would be Trout, or Harper, because neither look like they’re on roids and can hit the ball out with ease and at great distances consistently. Stanton looks like he’s on roids lol
